The sushi rice was just the right size for a single bite, which I really appreciated. The scallops were incredibly fresh.

Grabbed the sanmanma for takeout, ate it a couple hours later. Still tasted good. The charcoal grill and sauce flavors really came through. Solid choice.

The Tancho Curry was my favorite part. It's a Thai-style curry, but lighter than most—more like a really flavorful, spicy soup. I just kept going back for more.

Got takeout, and the chicken was still hot when I got home. The newspaper box for the bones is a clever touch! 🍗

Booked the private room for a birthday. The service was cheerful and polite, but what really stood out was the timing. Each course arrived just as we finished the last one. It felt so smooth, never rushed or waiting.

The curry's heat level does change a bit each visit. I appreciate that they leave a small bowl of garam masala on the table so you can tweak it yourself. It lets me control the spice while still enjoying the fresh, vibrant flavors of the vegetables. A thoughtful touch for those of us watching our diets.

Parking's handy, but it filled up fast at lunch. Still, easy to meet up with friends here.

The owner is so sweet! She made our parfaits herself and even offered to take our photo. Made the whole visit feel really cozy.

Booked a private room upstairs. Food came out steadily and was all satisfying.

The thin, curly noodles here have such a nice chew. I really appreciate that texture. They go so well with the light, clear soup. A very clean and simple bowl.

Grilled silver cod collar was fantastic. Good local sake selection too.

Grilled whelks are a must-try local dish. The sauce is so good, and the shellfish was super fresh. Perfect for sharing with friends!

The Sarashina soba was smooth and aromatic. Good quality ingredients, but the portion felt a bit small for the price.

The whale bacon portion was huge for the price. Really enjoyed the local specialty.

The venison steak was cooked perfectly medium-rare, incredibly tender. The sashimi was fresh, simple, no fuss. Just the food, which is exactly what I wanted.

The deer curry was tender and the flavor was good. A bit pricey for the portion size, but I'll probably be back.

Been coming here for years. The location right by the station and next to the supermarket is just so practical, especially when I'm grabbing dinner after work. Makes the whole thing effortless.
