The lunch set at this cafe is a fantastic value! I enjoyed the Philly cheese steak, which was flavorful and filling. The casual atmosphere makes it a great spot to unwind during a busy day.

Found this place for a vegetarian lunch. The pasta was really good, and the staff was nice about customizing it. I had a glass of the house red with it, which was a simple but solid pairing. Made for a relaxed midday meal.

The dorayaki here is absolutely the best I've ever had! The sweetness is just right, and the texture is perfect. I wish I had bought more!

No. 13 of Light Bites in Nara City

The Iced Military Latte was so good! Really liked how you could taste both the matcha and coffee clearly, and the milk wasn't too heavy. The Earl Grey s'more cookie was the star though, perfect for sharing with my friend. Great spot to catch up.

The barista explained their coffee selection really well, both in English and Japanese. I tried a pour-over from Ethiopia, and the flavor notes were clear and balanced. Nice to see that level of care.

Stumbled in for lunch in Minamisenba. The handmade, additive-free curry was good. What stood out was the small but thoughtful selection of craft beers. Picked a local ale that cut through the richness nicely. A bit on the quiet side, but that suited me.

Been coming here for years. It's my go-to spot when I need a quiet break from the station crowds. Always find a table by the window to just sit and relax. The location on the first floor is perfect for that.

French toast was the star of brunch, so fluffy it felt like cake. Perfect for sharing with friends!

Perfect for a quick, quiet break. The traditional tea room is so calming.

Some staff were really nice and helpful. But the all-you-can-drink menu was a bit limited, not everything was included. The experience felt a bit inconsistent.

The bacon burger was the star. The patty was juicy, but the bacon itself really stood out – thick-cut, perfectly crispy, and super flavorful. A solid choice.

First time here, the choco banana croffle was the star for me. The warm, flaky layers with melted chocolate and fresh banana slices hit just right. Coffee was strong and creamy too. A solid spot for a sweet treat.

The 90-minute session with Randy was nicely paced. His English was clear, which really helped our group follow along. I appreciated the wine pairing suggestions he offered throughout—it added a thoughtful layer to the tasting. A solid experience.

The brunch set is a decent option here. The chocolate pound cake was pretty good, moist and not too sweet. Paired with a drink and a croissant, it made for a fine, simple breakfast in Nara.

Came here after Nijo Castle. The tatami seats and garden view are so peaceful. Perfect for a chill chat with friends over tea.

The scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked, creamy and fluffy. Served with thick-cut bacon that had a nice crisp. Coffee was strong, just how I like it. A solid breakfast spot.

The crepes are the star here. Went back the next night just for dessert. Waitress helped with the menu, which was nice. Solid spot.

Got here early to beat the crowd, and they let us wait inside. The staff was so nice and their English was really good—made ordering a breeze.

The non-alcoholic bubble drinks were a real mood. That presentation was so fun and thoughtful, it just made the whole evening feel a bit more special. 🫧

The atmosphere was so cozy and elegant, really lovely. I just wish the lighting was a bit brighter for reading the menu. Still, a very pleasant spot for a quiet dinner.

The hamburger steak plate is huge! I added the grilled fish, and it was more than enough for lunch.

Stopped in for a coffee break. The vibe is really cozy and relaxed. Got a latte and a slice of their chocolate cake. The cake was rich, not too sweet, went perfectly with the coffee. Staff was nice. Just what I needed.

The desserts are the star here. Chef's French pastry background really comes through. Tried the fusion chocolate tart, and the texture was incredible. Just a bit on the sweet side for me, but still impressive.

The pancakes were so fluffy and buttery, I'd honestly come back just for those. The manager was super nice, which made the whole visit really chill.
