Loved the tucked-away feel of this place in Sunbridge Wells. The setting is just so unique and charming. Felt like a proper little discovery.

The spinach and blue cheese croquettes were a lovely surprise. The rest of the tapas selection felt solid and authentic.

Ipfu's my usual sushi fix in York. The chicken gyoza are spot on. They had a decent Pinot Noir by the glass that worked surprisingly well with the richer dishes. Always clean, feels relaxed.

The espresso martini was spot on. Strong coffee flavour, not too sweet, and a proper creamy foam on top. The view was a bonus, but honestly, I'd come back just for that drink.

Been living here for years, and this place is a solid choice when you want something different. The food tastes like the real deal. Service is friendly without being over the top. A nice change from the usual.

Early bird menu is solid value. Had the steak special, portion was decent. The free starter was a nice gesture. Service was efficient. Good option for a quick, reasonably priced dinner before 7pm.

Vegan menu looked good so we tried it. The roasted aubergine was solid, really nice texture. My wife's pizza was decent too. They gave us a free drink because the food took a little while, which was a nice touch.

The lamb shank was cooked perfectly, just fell off the bone. The red wine sauce had a deep, rich flavour that wasn't too heavy. The mashed potatoes were creamy and smooth. A really solid main course.

Visiting York for Christmas and needed some Vietnamese food. The pho and shrimp cakes were spot on, really hit the spot. The place itself is nice and cosy, just what you want on a cold day.

Been coming here for years, and the Tapas Tuesday deal is why. It's always spot on. The patatas bravas are just as good as they were three years ago. That kind of consistency keeps me coming back.

Owner was super friendly, took time to walk us through the menu. Nice little spot.

Stumbled on this spot during a wander through Ripon. The seafood pasta was spot on, tasted just like I remember from Italy. Huge portion too – my friend and I ended up sharing one. Nice to find somewhere you can actually have a proper chat over dinner.

Came in for a quiet Sunday dinner. The staff were so attentive, noticed I needed a different seat right away and sorted it without any fuss. Really appreciated that. The space itself felt calm and relaxing.

Harry was so lovely and attentive, really made the lunch feel special. The set menu is a great deal, the food was spot on. Just a really nice, calm vibe in there.

Came with a big group and the space was perfect for it. Really liked the high ceilings and the way the tables were spread out, didn't feel cramped at all. All our food came out together and hot, which was a bonus.

The chaat bombs were a real treat, and the curries had a nice depth of flavour. My only gripe? The wine list felt a bit limited for the style of food. I ended up with a decent Pinot Gris, but a few more adventurous pairings would have been welcome.

The Turkish breakfast platter is massive. Honestly, two people could easily share one. We sat in the glass room, and the portion for the price was just right. Didn't need lunch afterwards.

The half pizza/half pasta combo is such a clever idea. Had it during happy hour and it was a total steal. Really hit the spot for a casual dinner, and the staff were lovely about it.

Found this place by chance. The Fat Hippo burger was spot on, juicy and the bun held up well. Cheese balls were moreish. Chairs are actually comfy for a longer sit. A solid spot.

The team here is so nice, they actually remembered my name from last time. Feels like a proper local spot, not just another restaurant.

The food and service were pretty good for the price, especially for a group. Decent value.

Popped in for the set lunch. Two courses for £20 is a solid deal. The red curry had a really nice depth of flavour, not too sweet. Portion was just right for midday. Service was prompt, got me in and out in good time.

Popped in for coffee and a scone. The scone was nice and warm, but the real treat was the coffee. They had a single-origin pour-over that paired beautifully with the pastry's buttery notes. Gets a bit hectic when the lunch reservations roll in, though.

The cheese and meat board was a really generous portion for four. The garlic mushrooms were the best bit.

Nice spot to get some work done. The coffee is solid, and the vibe is really chill for freelancers. I spent a good few hours here with my laptop, felt totally welcome to just hang.

Service was a pleasant surprise. They squeezed us in without a reservation and were really attentive.

Been coming here for years. The service is always spot on, they really make you feel looked after. It's a family-run place, and you can tell they care. The atmosphere is cozy, perfect for a quiet dinner.

The breakfast was cooked to order, which I appreciate. Quality ingredients, a solid start to the day.

They were so careful with my peanut allergy, which I really appreciate. Not many places take it this seriously. The staff double-checked everything for me, made the whole meal feel relaxed.

Sophie was brilliant, really attentive. The manager's a friendly chap too. Had the baklava for dessert, it was spot on. Their house red was a decent match, not too heavy. A solid evening out.
