The desserts here are delightful, especially the pudim with queijo de Serra Estrela, which perfectly balances salty and sweet.

From the outside this place doesn't look like much but a friend had told us the food was great. From the inside this place is cozy, and quaint, and my friend was right the food is fantastic! Everything we had was great and the prices were very reasonable. In fact we went back for lunch the next day!

Came for lunch on the terrace, really calm spot. Food was tasty, nothing crazy but solid. The vibe outside made it feel like a proper escape from the usual noise. Service was fine, no complaints. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

What an absolutely delightful evening! The clams were hands-down the most delicious I've had in a year—perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. My husband couldn't stop raving about the squid skewer, and for good reason—it was a standout dish. The wine complemented our meal beautifully, rounding out an already exceptional dining experience. This little gem is a true find, and we can't wait to return!

A great burger place conveniently close to the train station. Super accommodating with good mojitos. Nice after a long day of touring Sintra.

Stumbled in here after wandering Sintra’s cobbled lanes, and the old building alone is worth a stop. Cozy, low-key vibe. I had a glass of their house red while my wife tried a local ginjinha—both worked fine with the petiscos we ordered. Service was friendly but a bit slow, though I wasn’t in any rush. Nice little break from the crowds.

The steak sandwich was decent — well-seasoned, not too greasy. Prices felt reasonable for the portion. Staff checked in a couple times without hovering. Place had a relaxed vibe, easy to sit and chat. Only thing is it got a bit noisy later in the evening. Fine for a casual meal though.

The surfing chicken was really good again — tender, lots of flavor. I've had it a few times now and it stays consistent. Nice place to sit outside and watch the sunset with a glass of wine. Service was fine, nothing fancy, but that chicken keeps me coming back.

Food was very good with fresh fish and unlike most places the sushi pieces are not mostly rice

Stopped here after wandering around Sintra and honestly it hit the spot. Burger and chips were solid, nothing fancy but exactly what I needed. Local beer came out ice cold too. Prices felt fair for the area. Place was a bit busy but that’s fine. Would come back if I’m in the mood for a quick bite.

The fried octopus starter was the best I had all trip—so tender. Rooftop terrace is lovely for a glass of port after. 🐙

The chef came out to explain each dish himself—that was a nice touch. Desserts were the highlight for sure, save some room.

The lasagna was solid — big portion and actually tasty. Staff were polite too. Nothing fancy but does the job for a quick bite.

Seafood rice was solid, grilled fish even better. Got in and out pretty quick, which is exactly what I needed. Place has that local feel, nothing fancy. Server checked on me once, that was enough. Price was fair for what you got.

The marinated olives were a solid start, and the steak sandwich with garlic butter hit the spot. Bread was nicely toasted, meat cooked right. Tried their own IPA too, pretty decent. Place was a bit loud for my taste, but the food made up for it. Good spot if you're in the area and want something simple.

The lemon Portuguese sweet bread was huge and soft, perfect for sharing. Coffee did the job too. Staff smiled the whole time, which was a nice touch.

The terrace is really nice, shaded by a big tree. We had the wraps and they were fresh and toasted. Prices felt fair for the area.

Stopped in for a late lunch and grabbed a seat at the bar. The omelette was properly done, fluffy inside, decent portion for the price. Had a glass of house red that paired better than expected with the mushrooms. Service was quick without hovering. Nothing fancy, just solid and honest.

Half chicken, salad, fries, two drinks — came to about €22 for both of us. Honestly can't complain at that price. Chicken was juicy, fries were decent. Nothing fancy but it filled us up. For a quick bite in the area, it does the job. Probably not the best meal I've had, but you get what you pay for.
