Been coming here for years. The steak's always cooked just right, and the homemade pie is a proper treat. It's the kind of reliable, no-fuss food that keeps you coming back.

The Sunday roast was lovely. I really appreciated the dairy-free gravy option. The beef was tender, and the selection of vegetables was fresh and well-prepared. A nice, hearty meal.

Love how bright and airy it is inside! The Grinch Christmas tree was such a fun, festive touch. Really made the place feel special for the season.

The steak pie was pretty good, decent portion. Fish and chips were fine as well. Oreo pudding was a nice treat. Prices are reasonable.

Portions are huge, food came out steaming hot. Perfect for a quick lunch. Quality is solid for the price. Got the chicken katsu, no complaints.

Staff are always friendly, even when it's packed or near closing. They take time with your order, never rushed. Makes you feel welcome.

Loved the relaxed vibe here. The decor is beautiful and welcoming, really makes you feel at ease. It's a nice spot to just sit and enjoy a meal without any fuss.

The steak pie and mash was a decent portion and pretty satisfying. There's some road noise in the evening, but it's fine.

The grilled fish was just right, not overdone. It had a lovely smoky flavour that really came through. A solid choice for fresh seafood, though the portion felt a bit small for the price.

Fish and chips are solid here. Batter's light and crispy, fish tastes fresh. Chips are decent. It's my go-to when I'm in the area and just want something reliable.

Nice spot by the clock tower and beach. Sat outside under the canopy. The coffee was good, but the croissant was a bit dry. Decent place for a quick stop.

The staff here are so friendly, even during the busy breakfast rush. It's nice to feel looked after without having to wait ages for a coffee refill. Makes for a very relaxed start to the day.

Lovely little spot, feels like a proper independent cafe. The vibe is just right for a quiet afternoon. I had a slice of their lemon drizzle cake, it was spot on. The armchairs are so comfy, you could easily lose a couple of hours here.

Brought the pup along and they had a dog bed ready, plus some treats. That's proper dog-friendly. Made it easy to just relax and enjoy the meal.

Been here a few times. It's a decent local spot, especially if you've got your dog with you. The staff are always friendly and quick. Nothing fancy, but it's reliable.

Great spot for a hot chocolate with all the trimmings. Sat by the window watching the sea, it was just the right kind of cosy. Prices are fair for the location.

Just needed a quick coffee and used their free WiFi. The staff were friendly enough. It's a typical Spoons, so you know exactly what you're getting. The coffee was fine, but honestly, for the price, I've had better. It does the job if you're in a pinch.

The chips here are a generous portion, soft and fluffy inside. Good value for what you pay. The seating was a bit cramped, but the service was friendly and made it a comfortable lunch.

Decided to try their weekday fry-up buffet. It's on from 11am to 1pm. The sausages were proper, bacon crispy. Service was quick, got my coffee refilled without asking. Good spot for a late breakfast.

The food is consistently good, no matter the time of day. I find myself coming back quite often. The staff are always nice, which is a big part of it for me.

Great spot right by the beach. The fish and chips were spot on, and they got it to our table quickly.

A proper old-school pub! The staff were really friendly, made it a nice spot to catch up with friends.

Been coming here for years, it's a proper local spot. The owner remembers your usual order, staff are always friendly. Coffee's good, simple food done well. Just a nice, reliable place.

The tapas are generous and each one looked as good as it tasted. They arrived quickly, too. Really liked the vibe in here - the lighting was just right and the tables weren't cramped at all.

The Sunday roast is the reason to come here. The beef was tender and the gravy had a good depth of flavour.

The staff were so friendly and efficient, even on a packed Saturday night. Really appreciated that.
