The spaghetti Montanara here was really good — proper Italian flavors right by Lake Balaton. Limoncello Spritz hit the spot too. Portion was big enough that I had leftovers for later.

The pork knuckle from the wood-fired oven was spot on—tender, smoky, proper flavor. Would’ve liked a better wine suggestion to go with it, but the meat itself did the job. 🍖

Stopped by for a cappuccino during a rainstorm and ended up staying a while on their covered patio. It's a great outdoor space, and the food I saw coming out of the kitchen looked tempting.

The four-course dinner was decent, well put together. Staff even made a dairy-free version for me without fuss. Breakfast buffet was fine, though it didn't change much day to day.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. The kemencés túrógombóc was the standout — nice twist on a classic. Craft beer list had some good picks too. Garden seating was chill, not too crowded. Prices felt fair for the quality. Service was fast enough for a lunch break. Solid spot if you're nearby and want something a bit different.

Big family group, they handled us well. Kids were loud, staff didn't care. Schnitzel was solid, soup hit the spot. View's a nice bonus, but honestly the portion size for the price was just okay.

The pizza dough was decent—soft, with a good char on the edges. Wine list is a nice bonus too. Probably one of the better spots near the lake.

Small family place, staff were friendly enough. Portions felt a bit small for what you pay, but the food itself was tasty. Would go back if I'm in the area.

The food here is genuinely good, no question. But the bill adds up fast, so it's more of a treat-yourself kind of place. I had a glass of their house red with the duck, and it worked nicely. Service was fine, though we did wait a bit between courses. Probably not a regular spot, but fine for when you want something a bit more polished.

Goulash soup was solid, rich flavor, hit the spot on a cold day. Place has that old-school Hungarian feel. Staff spoke English fine, which helped.

Stepping in here feels like walking into an old Hungarian village—vintage tools and farm stuff all over the walls. Food was solid, nothing crazy but decent. Staff were friendly enough. Kinda cool spot if you're into that rustic vibe.

The playground kept the kids busy while we waited for the pizza. That alone was a win. The pizza itself was solid, decent crust, not too greasy. Lemonade was nice and cold. Staff seemed friendly enough. We'll probably come back sometime.

Came here with a couple of friends and grabbed a table on the terrace—perfect for hanging out. The wild goulash was the highlight, really solid. Service was quick too, no complaints 😊

The staff spoke perfect English and German, which made things easy. Food arrived fast, maybe 10 minutes. Prices felt fair for what you got.

The garden seating looks straight out onto the harbour, which is half the reason to come here. Food’s decent—stuck to the traditional Hungarian stuff, can’t go wrong with that. Service dragged a bit between courses, though the staff stayed friendly. Had a glass of local white with the fish, paired better than I expected. Fine spot if you’re already by the lake.

Good coffee and decent cake selection. WiFi worked well for getting some work done. Prices are a bit steep but the quality is there.

The wedding dinner was well handled, room looked great. The fried meat platter was plenty for everyone. Soup was solid.

The goulash soup here is the real deal—proper paprika kick and loaded with beef. I ordered the pork medallions too and honestly the portion was bigger than I expected for the price. Our waitress spoke English which helped a lot since my Hungarian is basically nonexistent. Place was busy but we got seated quick.

The lemonade here is seriously good—fresh, not too sweet, just right. Pizza was okay, nothing crazy. But honestly the lighting kinda killed the vibe, could barely see what I was eating. Still, that drink alone might bring me back.

The garlic soup had real depth, not just salty broth. Draniki were crispy outside, soft inside. Portions are huge, honestly could split one plate between two people. Prices fair for what you get. Didn't need anything else after that meal.

The most homely spot we found in Balatongyörök. Food was delicious, and they didn’t rush us at all. Just a really chill place to eat.

The almond breaded chicken fillet with mixed salad was the star of my meal—big portion, cooked just right. My friend got the chicken breast with liver ragout over rice and honestly that sauce was so rich, I kinda wished I'd ordered it instead. Place was pretty busy but food came quick enough.

The terrace is cozy enough, and the grilled stuff came out pretty tasty. Steak was decent but I kept wishing for some fries on the side.

Owner recommended the local dishes and even tried a bit of Italian with us. Food was solid, service friendly.

The sous vide duck breast was surprisingly good for a countryside spot. Juicy, tender, proper flavor. Didn't really care about the garden seating, but the meat did the talking.
