Our server was super helpful with suggestions. I asked about the portion sizes before ordering, and she was honest about what was filling. That kind of attention to detail is nice when you're watching your budget.

The cheese fondue starter was a solid choice. Really liked the toasted sourdough for dipping. Good way to kick things off.

Friendly service, they noticed I left my jacket and brought it over. That was a nice touch. Food was solid, nothing fancy but reliable. Been coming here for years, it's a good neighborhood spot.

Love the build-your-own ramen, especially the fresh bamboo shoots and corn.

The family-run feel is genuine, and the staff are so kind. Their house red was a nice, easy drink with the meal.

Great stop on the way to Tioga Pass. Got the chile rellenos for a quick bite. They came out fast, which was perfect. Sat on the patio, music was nice. Solid spot when you're in a hurry.

Love the salsa bar here - so many choices! The refried beans are my favorite, really creamy and flavorful. It's a simple little downtown spot, nothing fancy, but the prices are fair.

Perfect for a quick bite. Omelettes and potato pancakes are solid, and the patio is nice and quiet. Got my food in under 10 minutes, which is exactly what I need. Prices are fair.

Good quick lunch spot. Got the burger and fries. Burger was solid, fries were actually not greasy which is nice. Portions are big for the price. Got in and out in under 30 minutes.

The ribs are so tender they just fall off the bone. Had them with the garlic bread and it was a solid, filling meal. A bit on the pricier side but you get what you pay for.

The gold nugget bread was so good we ordered a second round! Perfect for sharing with friends while we caught up. It’s cheesy and warm, just what you want to start the night.

The homemade ice cream here is so good. I tried the Lemon Snappy and Tangerine Dream – you can really taste the fresh fruit. Texture is spot on, creamy but not heavy. A bit pricey for a single scoop, but you can tell it's the real deal.

First time here and the quesadilla tarasca was a standout. The poblano cream sauce with the runny egg on top was so good, a really nice combo I haven't seen before. Menu looks fun, will be back to try more.

Been coming here for years. It's the oldest saloon in California, and that sense of history is what keeps me coming back.

Cozy spot, perfect for a late drink. The team was still welcoming even as they were winding down. Had a nice Pinot Noir that paired well with the charcuterie board.

The live music on the weekend was a nice surprise! It was just a local guitarist, but it created such a fun, relaxed atmosphere while we ate. Really enjoyed that little extra touch.

The shrimp puttanesca is one of the best I've ever had. Gluten-free rice noodles were cooked perfectly.

Decent beer selection on tap. Staff was friendly even though it was packed. Got the IPA, solid choice.

Cozy little family-run spot. The wooden beams and fireplace gave it such a warm, chalet-like feel. Felt like a perfect little escape on a chilly evening. Just a really welcoming vibe.

Solid Mexican spot. The food is authentic, which is rare for this area. We ate on the back deck, a nice touch for a casual lunch. Service was efficient. Prices are fair for the portions. I'll be back.
