The seafood dishes are fresh and the plating looks great. Love the coastal vibe inside, feels relaxed without being stuffy. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price.

The short rib was ridiculously tender, fell apart with a fork. Menu's written on the walls which is a nice touch. Desserts are solid too. Bit pricier than other spots around, but you get what you pay for.

The spinach and feta quesadilla was stuffed properly. Generous portion for the price. Jade the waitress did her job fine.

Tried the sushi, bobotie, pizza and ostrich shank with a few friends – honestly all pretty decent. Good spot if your group can't agree on what to eat 😅

Shared the carpaccio and calamari with a friend—both were really good. The panna cotta stood out though, creamy and not too sweet. Service was on point, and the chairs were comfier than expected, which I appreciated. Gelato was just okay, nothing special. Wouldn't mind going back for dessert again.

The Belgian chocolate milkshake was the highlight for me. Burgers were solid too. Lovely space inside, really comfortable seating.

The T-bone was decent for the price, but the draught beer ran out mid-pour. They swapped the keg quick enough, so no real complaints. Just wish the portion was a bit bigger for what you pay.

The chateaubriand was properly tender, cooked just right. Staff brought a little dessert card for our celebration, which was a nice touch. Decent spot for a special night out, though it did feel a bit pricey for what you get.

The French toast here is seriously good. Comes with cream cheese, maple syrup, and caramelised fruit on top. Had a café latte alongside and honestly that combo hit the spot. Place was busy but the food came quick enough. Would go back just for that toast again.

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed the grilled hake with calamari. Fish was fresh, cooked properly, not overcooked. The Korean slaw on the side was a nice touch, added a bit of crunch. Did see the Wednesday sushi deal, looked decent for the price. Place was pretty quiet when I went, service was fine. Solid spot if you're after simple, well-made seafood.

The lighting in here is warm and soft, makes the whole place feel calm. We grabbed a table by the window, no rush at all. Salads were fresh, pretty solid for a farm stop. Free wifi helped pass the time while we waited for the food to come out. Nothing fancy, but it worked.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the ostrich and beet salad — fresh, came out fast. Veranda seating is nice if you can grab a spot. Menu changes daily, so no idea what you'll get next time. Solid for a quick bite, nothing fancy.

The ribs were proper fall-off-the-bone good, and honestly those onion rings might be the best I've had at any Spur. Big portions for the price too. Took my friends here after a long week and we left so full and happy. Definitely a solid spot if you're craving something hearty. 😊

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the ribs. Honestly some of the best I've had around here. Meat came right off the bone, sauce was solid without being too sweet. Place was pretty busy but I got seated quick. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

Service was genuinely impressive. They remembered my last order and even offered proper table-side service, which felt more like a sit-down restaurant than a typical fast-food spot.

Coffee’s been solid every time I’ve popped in — that flat white really hits the spot. Staff remember my order which is kinda nice. Place gets busy around mid-morning so grab a seat before then. Just wish they’d open a bit earlier on Sundays.

Ostrich steak was properly tender, full of flavour. Bobotie solid too. Service friendly without hovering. Decent spot if you're after something local.

Stopped in for Sunday lunch and honestly the food hit that home-cooked spot. The peppermint crisp tart was the standout for me, proper nostalgic. My wife nearly welled up eating it. Service was a bit slow but the food made up for it. Definitely a solid spot if you're craving something comforting.

The burger patty had that proper charred edge, juicy inside, bun held up well without getting soggy. That’s the main thing I care about. Place was dead quiet when I walked in, so zero wait for a table. Staff left me alone mostly, which suited me fine. Just solid food, no fuss.

The bread at the farm stall was still warm when I grabbed it. That alone made my morning. They've got a solid spread of jams and cheeses too, plus a little nursery out back that's easy to get lost in. Didn't plan to leave with a plant, but here we are. Just wish the coffee was stronger.

Solid chicken schnitzel. Crispy, decent size, proper flavour. Fire was going when we sat down, made it feel cosy. That's about it really.

Stopped here because it’s right next to the Queen’s hotel—super handy. Coffee was decent and the biscuits were a nice touch. Nothing fancy, but it did the job for a quick break. I’d pop in again if I was in the area, just wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Solid breakfast spot. That in-house bread is the real deal, honestly worth bringing people here for. Place is tiny though, felt a bit cramped. But yeah, the bread alone does it for me.

Had dinner cooked by chef Michael at our place. Every bite was properly tasty, you could tell he actually cares about the food. Easily one of the best meals we had in South Africa.

The set menu with wine pairings was decent, and the winemaker stopping by tables was a nice touch. Portions felt a bit small for what you pay, though.

The ostrich fillet was decent but honestly, for the price I expected a bigger portion. Chef came out to explain the dishes which was a nice touch, just wish there was more on the plate.
