Pork knuckle was solid, crispy skin, tender inside. Duck worked too, though I'd say the knuckle's the safer bet. Had the Starobrno Drak with it—bitter edge cut through the richness nicely, good call. Brewer's soup was okay, nothing to write home about. Place was busy, typical Czech spot. Fine if you're after hearty food and a decent pint.

The pork knuckle was spot on—crispy skin, tender inside. Horseradish and mustard on the side worked well. Their Pilsner pairs nicely with it. Solid spot if you're in the area.

The color-coded zones inside are pretty clever—makes the space feel bigger than it is. Good for groups, though I mostly noticed how fresh the greens looked in our salads.

Quick bite before catching my train. Fried kolbasa was solid, exactly what I needed. Place was busy but moved fast. It's my go-to stop whenever I'm in the area. Nothing fancy, just good food and quick service.

The garden out back is nice, small but cozy. Coffee was solid, no complaints there. Service though... one person running the whole place, so we waited a while for the bill. Not a huge deal if you're not in a rush, but don't come here when you're starving or late for something. Price was fair for what we got though.

Came here with a couple of friends and grabbed a table outside—such a chill spot tucked into the ramparts. The banana bread was honestly the highlight, super moist and not too sweet. Leek soup was solid too, perfect for a cooler afternoon. Service was friendly, though it took a little while to get our order in. Would definitely come back for a lazy hangout. 😊

Came here for a quick lunch, sat outside by the main square. Staff were friendly, English was no problem. Had the grilled chicken with potatoes — decent, nothing fancy but cooked fine. Coffee was pretty good too. It's a solid spot if you're in the area and want something easy. Maybe a bit touristy, but that's expected with the location.

Nice spot away from the crowds, only a short walk from the old town. Felt a bit calmer than the main square, which I liked. Ordering in English was no problem at all. Decor inside is simple but pleasant. Food was decent, nothing mind-blowing, but I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

Lunch menu’s a solid deal. Beef tartare was the highlight, really fresh. Place gets packed with locals around noon, but service kept up fine.

The coffee was solid and the place stayed quiet even on a Saturday afternoon, which I appreciated. Red velvet cake was the best part—moist, not overly sweet, decent slice for the price. Staff left me alone until I needed them, then were quick. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

We've been coming here every year for six years now. Food's honest Czech cooking, nothing fancy but always tasty. Owner and staff are friendly folks. Never had a bad meal.

Duck and pho bo were solid, really hit the spot. Staff kept checking in, which was nice. Place had a decent buzz for dinner.

The tuna sashimi was the standout. Really fresh, clean cut, melted right away. Didn't care much about the rest, but that one plate was enough to make me remember the place. Portion could be bigger for the price though.

Friendly staff, got oat milk for my coffee without any fuss. Quick enough for a lunch break stop. Solid spot if you need a fast bite.

Love the vaulted ceiling with modern decor, always a good vibe. Local wine and food never disappoint here.

Came here on a busy weekday afternoon. Food arrived quicker than I expected, which was nice. Had the lunch set, decent portion for the price. Staff pointed me to the right table right away. Nothing fancy, but it did the job.

Been coming here for years. The pho stays consistently good, broth is always rich. Family-run spot, nothing fancy, but you know what you're getting.

The pizza was decent and it arrived pretty fast. Good enough for a casual dinner when you don't feel like cooking.

The pho was solid and the price was right. Had the beef version, broth was flavorful enough. Ordering took a minute since I don't speak the language, but we pointed at the menu and it worked out. Quick bite for lunch, in and out in under half an hour. Fine spot if you're in the area.

Lunch menu’s decent value, meat dishes are the way to go. Portions looked smallish but filled me up fine. Service was okay, better when it wasn’t packed.

The burger truck on Brno's market square is solid. Meat quality is really good, buns are homemade and slightly sweet. Just wish they had more than one option sometimes. Cash only though, and they sell out fast.

The bun chay was solid – fresh veggies, tofu done right, and the portion was big enough that I didn’t need anything else after. Staff spoke good English too, which helped since my Vietnamese is basically zero. Price felt fair for what you got. Maybe not mind-blowing, but I left full and that’s what counts.

The pizza here is properly Italian, and they pour a good glass of wine. Tiramisu was solid too. Prices are a bit high, but you get what you pay for.
