The fillet steak was properly cooked, decent cut of meat. They also threw in some pizza bread on the house, which was a nice touch. Only thing that threw me off was the tip prompt at the payment terminal. Not a big deal, just unexpected. Steak itself did the job though.

The location is what makes this place. It’s tucked inside an old church, with a bar downstairs. We went for dinner and the vibe was really calm, not touristy at all. Food was solid Italian, nothing crazy, but the setting does the heavy lifting. I’d go back for a drink more than a full meal, honestly.

Been coming here for years and the schnitzel never disappoints. Portions are huge, service stays solid even when it's packed. Just don't forget cash, no card payments.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Interior’s nicely done, warm but modern. Had the schnitzel, came out hot and crispy. Service was efficient, no waiting around. Price felt fair for what you get. Solid choice if you’re in the area and want something reliable.

Lovely traditional brauhaus feel. The braised ox cheeks with a darker beer was a good combo. Pork knuckle was solid too. Seats were comfy, which I always appreciate.

Stopped by for a drink and ended up staying for food. The Moscow Mule was spot on—gingery, not too sweet. Bar list is long, lots of wines and cocktails to pick from. Service friendly without hovering. Fine spot if you're in the area and just want something easy.

We've eaten here maybe a dozen times over the years. The food is always solid, nothing fancy but filling. Portions are generous for the price, which is honestly why we keep coming back. Service is friendly enough, though it can get busy on weekends. If you're hungry and don't want to spend a fortune, this place does the job.

The food here is consistently solid, and honestly the portions are generous for what you pay. I sat near the window and the natural light made the whole place feel more open, which I appreciated. The chairs were comfortable enough to linger a bit longer over coffee. Service was fine, nothing over the top, but they checked in at the right moments.

Been coming here for a while now, and the butter chicken stays consistent. Had it again last week with some friends, still as good as the first time. Sohan papri was a nice finish too. Place gets busy, but the food keeps me coming back.

The pasta was really good and my veggie plate was huge. My friend's rocket pizza looked solid too. Prices are fair for what you get.

Came for lunch and grabbed the schnitzel—really crispy, exactly what I needed. Sat on the terrace, it’s sheltered so even with the wind it was fine. Service was friendly, no complaints. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger, but overall a solid stop.

The pizza here is reliably decent, and they’ve got a few good vegetarian options. I usually get delivery, but when I picked it up myself, the staff was really nice. Just keep in mind it’s cash only, which caught me off guard the first time. Pretty good spot for a quick fix.

Cozy spot, food was really well done. Had the schnitzel and it came out hot, crispy, nice portion. Service was friendly, but honestly the server came by like every five minutes. Kind of broke the flow of our talk. Still, I'd go back for the food alone. Just maybe ask for a little more space next time.

Stopped by for lunch and ordered the Bensemer Beidel. Portion was decent for the price, not huge but fair. Place has that local feel, nothing fancy. Service was friendly enough. If you're in the area and want something authentic without breaking the bank, it does the job.

Tucked away but worth finding. Interior feels properly Indian, and the food was genuinely good. One of the better curry spots around here.

The Oberhofers still run the place themselves, which gives it a nice personal touch. Food was solid, nothing fancy, but the setting is what gets me. Sitting outside felt calm, almost like being in someone's garden. One of my go-to spots in Bensheim, even if it gets a bit busy on weekends.

Came here with the family, kids were happy. They got some little extras which was nice. Food is solid, nothing fancy but well made. Portions are decent for the price. Place gets busy around 7, so maybe go a bit earlier if you can.

Came here with five friends on a busy Saturday night. I had the schnitzel with potato salad — crispy, not greasy, and the meat was tender. Portion size was decent for the price. Beer garden was packed but still felt chill. Only downside: we waited a bit for the bill. But honestly, the food made up for it.

Popped in for breakfast, no expectations. Got the eggs Benedict – pretty solid, actually. Sauce was decent, eggs cooked right. Portion size surprised me, plenty of food for the price. Staff left me alone mostly, which I appreciate. Place was busy but not chaotic. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

The roast beef salad was really good, and the cake slices are huge—honestly enough for two. I liked the interior, kind of cozy but still stylish. Service was friendly and professional too. Only thing, it got a bit warm inside when it was full. Still, a solid spot if you're in the area.

The food was really good, especially the pasta. Service was friendly and quick, even though the place was packed. They brought out a small cake at the end without us asking, which was a nice surprise. Only downside: tables are a bit close together, so it got loud. Fine for a casual dinner though.

Been coming here for a while now, and the food stays consistent. Had the schnitzel again last time, still as good as the first visit. Portion was solid for the price, left full without feeling ripped off. Place gets busy around 7, so come a bit earlier if you want a quiet table.

The papaya salad was really good, nice and spicy just as I asked. The place is small but the staff made sure I was comfortable. Would go back for that salad alone.

Loved the vaulted room, such a cool vibe for hanging out with friends. Meat portions were solid and tasty, though sides were kinda basic. Pricey, but you pay for the quality. 😊

The schnitzel was solid, really well-made, and the mashed potatoes tasted properly homemade. Meatballs were good too. Service felt friendly without hovering, which I appreciated. Only small thing: the outdoor seating is a bit tight, tables close together. Not a dealbreaker, just something to know if you like a bit more space. I'd come back for the food alone.

The seafood paccheri was really good—pasta cooked right, plenty of shrimp and mussels. Portion size was decent for the price, which honestly surprised me. Service was friendly without hovering. I’d go back if I’m in the area again.

Decent spot. Service was friendly and they pointed us to a couple of off-menu things that were actually good. Food came out fresh, no complaints there. Portions could be a bit bigger for the price, but overall a solid meal. Wouldn't mind going back sometime.

The homemade sausages here are the real deal — you can tell they make them fresh. Sat in the courtyard, which was lovely. Just wish the weather had held up a bit longer.

We sat outside in the garden, which was really peaceful. I had the steak and it came exactly as asked, tender and juicy. The side salad had a nice mix of leaves, not just the usual boring lettuce. Service was quick and friendly. Only thing, the garden chairs could be a bit more comfortable for a long sit. But overall a nice spot for a relaxed meal.
