Fries were decent—crispy outside, soft inside. Not the cheapest, but pretty good for Mannheim.

The lunch buffet here is pretty solid for the price. I mostly stuck to the salads and grilled veggies, they tasted fresh and not like they'd been sitting out too long. Good spot if you want a decent meal without spending too much. Maybe not the biggest selection, but enough to fill you up.

Stopped by for a coffee and a slice of cake. The place has this old-school charm, quite cozy. Prices are fair for what you get, though the slice was a bit smaller than I expected. Staff were nice, didn't rush me at all. Fine spot if you're in the area and want a quiet break.

Lovely spot by the lake, pelicans just wandering past while we ate. Grilled salmon with rice and veggies tasted fresh, nicely done. Terrace seating made it even better.

Schnitzel was decent and the portion matched the price. Nothing fancy, but for a quick meal near the center it does the job. Service was fast enough.

The staff were friendly and helped us figure out the menu. Lamb chops were the highlight—cooked properly and really flavorful.

The cakes here are really good, had a slice with a cappuccino. Cozy little place in the center of Karlsruhe. Service was friendly, no complaints.

Been coming here for a while now. The food's always solid, comes out fast too. Service can drag a bit when it's busy, but that's whatever. Staff's friendly enough. I keep going back for the schnitzel, it's consistently good. Place gets loud at lunch, but you know what you're getting into. Fine by me.

Small spot, so book ahead - we learned that the hard way on a Friday night. Staff were friendly enough, got us seated within 10 minutes. The all-you-can-eat menu has decent variety, though nothing mind-blowing. Portions come out quick, which matters when you're hungry. Fine for a casual dinner, just don't expect anything fancy.

The sushi itself was fresh, that’s for sure. The rice was a bit plain though. For the price, it’s a decent spot if you need a sushi fix.

The chicken shawarma had that smoky char, veggies gave it a sweet crunch. Bread was soft but buttery from the press. One roll filled me up.

Loved the Syrian and Lebanese plates here. The fresh hummus and grilled meats were spot on. Staff helped us pick, which was nice. Place fills up fast, so book ahead.

Stopped by for a quick drink. Bartender mixed it fast, no fuss. Place is chill, not too loud. Good spot if you just wanna grab something and not deal with small talk. Prices are fair for what you get. Solid choice for a quick stop.

Nice spot right on the Neckar. Sand, deckchairs, chill vibe. Mojitos were solid and prices fair. Good for a lazy afternoon drink.

Lovely spot in Durlach, right in the middle of everything. Service was friendly and quick. Sat outside, which was nice—just be ready for the church bells ringing nearby.

Coffee and bagel at Mannheim Hbf. Decent enough for a quick stop. Place was packed though, took a while to get served. Coffee was fine, nothing special. Staff friendly. Good if you're in a rush and need something fast.

We sat by the window, and the light was just right for a lazy evening. Cocktails were solid, and the tapas platter—you pick from seven—felt fair for the price. Service stayed friendly even when it got busier. Only thing: the smoking lounge is right there, so if you're sensitive to that, pick your spot carefully.

The pork schnitzel was properly crispy, not greasy. Came with a decent potato salad. For 9 euros, that's fair for the portion. Place is a bit worn down but I wasn't here for the decor. Would eat that schnitzel again.

The lunch menu is a solid deal, honestly. Portions are generous and the food came out quicker than I expected. I grabbed a veggie curry and it was fresh, not swimming in sauce like some places. Only real downside is the seating, a bit cramped if you're there at peak time. But for a quick, affordable bite, it does the job.

The bifteki was juicy, tzatziki had a proper garlic kick. Salad dressing a bit sharp for me, but the meal hit the spot. Solid quick lunch spot.

Tucked away from the tourist crowds, this place nailed the sauerbraten and dumplings. Portions are generous too. Just wish they had more staff on the floor, took a while to get the bill.

The chai latte really stood out — properly spiced, not too sweet. Croissants were still warm, flaky in the right way. Cozy spot, though it got a bit busy around noon.

The beef sandwich was really good—simple but well done. I had the chicken salad too and it hit the spot. Nothing fancy about the place, but it’s comfortable and easy. Prices felt fair for what you get. I’d probably come back if I’m in the area again.

We stopped by for breakfast and it was pretty good. Everything’s homemade, you can tell. The owner was friendly but not overly chatty, which I appreciated. Just a heads up, it’s a small place so you might wait a bit for a table. But the food made up for it. Decent spot overall.

The schnitzel with fried potatoes was solid, really crispy. Solyanka soup was the highlight though, hearty enough to be a main course on its own. Salad with roast beef was a nice lighter option. Lasagna came out a bit runny, not my favorite, but everything else hit the spot. Decent spot for a casual dinner.

The old building has this really nice vibe inside — they kept the historic structure but made it feel warm and modern at the same time. I sat near the window and the light was lovely. Food was decent too, though I wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price. Still, I'd come back for the atmosphere alone.

Came here on a warm evening and grabbed a table on the terrace—such a nice spot right in Ebertpark. Menu has plenty of options, and what I ordered was really fresh and well made. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the setting kind of makes up for it. Would come back for the outdoor vibe alone. 🌿
