Goat cheese crème brûlée was a solid start, chocolate cake hit the spot. Service stayed sharp without hovering. Fair for the price.

Solid meat dishes, seasonal menu. Had the asparagus in April—definitely the highlight. Service was friendly, place has that old-school vibe.

The lunch buffet’s a solid pick—good spread, dessert’s included. Fair price for what you get, though I’d’ve liked a better wine list to go with it.

Came here with a few friends last week and sat outside. The whole place has this chill vacation vibe, even though it’s just a neighborhood spot. Food was solid, nothing crazy but well done. Staff smiled the whole time which honestly made it feel super welcoming. Would come back for a lazy summer evening 🙂

The garden seating is a bit overgrown, but honestly it adds to the charm. Had the liver dumplings and bratwurst — both were pretty good. Service was friendly, no complaints there. Salad felt a bit pricey for what it was, but the mains made up for it. Decent spot for a casual meal.

Came here for dinner after a walk up to the castle. The Wachtenburg wine selection is really nice, tried a local red that paired well with my meal. Staff were friendly but it got packed pretty quickly, so we were lucky to grab a table. Only downside, dessert was just ice cream, nothing else.

Stopped by for a quiet afternoon coffee. The 20s-style furniture caught my eye right away, really charming. Coffee was okay, nothing special. But the homemade cake? That was fresh and not too sweet, just how I like it. I'd come back for the cake alone. Maybe next time I'll try their tea instead.

Stopped by for a quick dessert after dinner. The menu is short, but everything’s made in-house. Had the pistachio — tasted clean, not overly sweet like most places. Service was efficient, no waiting around. Prices are fair for the quality. Solid option if you’re in the area and want something simple.

Came here for breakfast and the vegan options caught my eye right away. Got the avocado toast—pretty solid, though the bread could've been toasted a bit more. Portions are decent, not huge but enough. Interior looks fancier than the prices suggest, which I liked. Staff was chill and didn't rush me. Would pop in again if I'm in the area.

The hazelnut cake was dense and not too sweet. Good coffee too. Breakfast options looked decent but I only came for the cake.

Came for the tteokbokki with sweet potato — that one really stood out. Ingredients tasted fresh, not like the usual frozen stuff. Owner was nice, checked if everything was okay. Only thing: it's not cheap. I paid a bit more than I normally would for Korean food, but the portion was decent so I didn't leave hungry.

The tacos and homemade guacamole are really good. They do weekly specials from different countries, which keeps it interesting. Just expect a wait when it's busy, we stood around for a bit.

Been coming here for years, and the gelato stays consistently good. The Karlsruher Asphalt flavor is still my go-to—fun name, and it actually tastes like something homemade, not the usual factory stuff. Place gets busy in the afternoon, but it moves fast enough. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Solid cordon bleu. Dark beer was good too. Place has that proper cozy German feel, nothing fancy. Found it by accident, glad I walked in. Portion was decent for the price. Maybe a bit quiet for a Friday night, but whatever. Worth remembering.

The herring with fried potatoes was decent, but honestly the portion felt a bit small for the price. Crème brûlée was good though. Cozy little place, nothing fancy.

The outdoor seating is really nice when the weather cooperates. I had the waffles and they came out fresh, chocolate was good. The caramel on top was a bit odd though. Service was friendly enough, no complaints there. Good spot for a quick break if you're walking around the area.

The Palatinate platter was solid—saumagen especially good. Service friendly without hovering. Decent spot if you're after proper German food.

Came for the rump steak day—solid plate, no complaints. Friendly service too. Only thing: a quarter liter of wine felt a bit steep for what it was.

The Pad Thai really hit the spot, and portions are generous for what you pay. Staff got me in and out fast. Solid pick if you're in the area and craving Thai.

Roast beef with sesame cabbage and that sweet potato-ginger-lime purée was the highlight. Wine prices fair for once. Main course took a while, but the bottle kept us busy.

Nice little café with decent vegan cake options. Got a slice of the chocolate one and a flat white - both did the job. Service was friendly enough.

The mega schnitzel is genuinely huge, like covering the whole plate. Beer garden out back is nice and chill. Portion alone is worth the stop.

Decent prices on weekdays, especially Monday for bowling. Place is big and well laid out for group stuff.

This place has been around forever, and you can tell. Food came out crazy fast, almost like fast food, but it felt a bit more polished than that. One dish was easily enough for two people. We ordered the mapo tofu, it was solid. Nothing fancy, just dependable. The room was a little bright for my taste, but the quick service made up for it.

Stopped by for dinner and grabbed a glass of their house red—decent pour, went well with the grilled fish. Food came out fresh, no complaints there. Place has a relaxed feel, easy to sit and chat for a while. Service was friendly enough, though it took a moment to get the bill. Fine for a casual night out.

The fried sepia with dried chilis was the standout — properly crispy, not chewy. I’d order that again. Service was friendly enough, and the free rice refills didn’t hurt. Place gets busy around 7, so don’t expect a quiet dinner. Fine for a quick meal if you’re in the area.
