The portions are seriously huge. Got the mixed grill and could barely finish half. Tastes like something my grandma would make, not fancy but solid. Staff was chill, didn't rush me while I sat there stuffed. Price felt fair for what landed on the table. Maybe not the most polished place but I left happy.

Came for the peka after reading about it—took a while to cook but worth the wait. Meat was super tender, fell right off the bone. Sunset from the terrace was unreal, honestly the view alone is half the experience. Staff left us alone until we needed something, which I liked. Just bring cash, they don’t take cards. And book ahead, place fills up fast.

Came here twice on our trip—the beef cheeks with paccheri were spot on, really tender. Staff let us eat in peace, no hovering. Prices ok for what you get.

The house wine here is solid, especially the red. Half a liter was cheap and went down easy with the food. Nothing fancy, but you don't need fancy when it's that drinkable. Wish the glass was a bit bigger though.

The view alone keeps me coming back. Calamari was fresh, though it's definitely on the pricier side.

Antonio was super attentive without hovering—knew when to check in, when to leave us alone. That alone made the meal better honestly. Food was solid, nothing crazy, but the service carried it. Place itself is a bit tight seating-wise, but it's fine for a quick dinner. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The meat skewer was the highlight — juicy and perfectly charred. Seafood pizza was solid too. Place is a bit out of the way, but the rustic vibe makes it worth the drive. 🍢

The beef carpaccio and risotto frutti di mare were really good. Cute family-run spot, felt super welcoming. Would come back with friends for sure 😊

The house white was ice cold and the fish plate might be the best I had in Croatia. Owner came over with a shot of schnapps on the house, nice touch. Place felt super local, not touristy at all. Wish I remembered the name of the fish but honestly it didn't matter. Solid stop if you're driving along the coast.

The grilled fish was really fresh and well seasoned. Service kept things moving without hovering. Nice spot right on the water, though it did get a bit busy around sunset.

The patio had enough space between tables, which I appreciated. Mixed grill was decent—pork skewers were the best part, though some other pieces came out a bit dry. Staff got us seated fast without much fuss. Fine for a casual dinner outside, nothing more.

The grilled octopus was the standout — perfectly charred on the edges, tender inside. Service was friendly and quick, even though the place got busy around 8pm. Prices felt fair for the portion size. I'd come back for that dish alone.

Solid pasta. Prices fair for what you get. Way better than the tourist traps closer to the center. Had the truffle tagliatelle, pretty rich. Place was busy but we got a table quick. No complaints really.

The pistachio soufflé didn’t work for me, but the eggs Benedict and croque madame were solid. Coffee was decent, just a bit weak. Place was busy at brunch, service kept up fine. I’d go back for the Benedict, not the soufflé.

The parmigiana pizza had that soft, chewy Neapolitan crust I love, and it came out piping hot. The fish was really good too, honestly some of the best I had in Croatia 🍕

Service at Spalatin is always on point—friendly and they know their local wines. Tiramisu was solid too, one of the better ones I've had. Good spot for dinner in Split.

Came for the grilled octopus after a friend told me about it. Didn't disappoint. Tender, charred just right. Service was quick too, which I always appreciate. Got a small complimentary starter while waiting. Nice spot for a proper lunch break. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd grab it again.

Solid burger and fries. Big portions, price was right for the area. Staff ran after us with my sunglasses—good people. Came back the next night.

The shrimp cream soup and grilled chicken were solid. Fresh ingredients, well cooked. Portions are generous too. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Place gets busy around noon, so expect a short wait if you come late. Fair price for what you get. I'd stop by again if I'm in the area.

The breakfast spread was decent—plenty to pick from, though the coffee machine let things down a bit. I stuck to a couple of glasses of their house white with the eggs, which worked better than expected. Terrace views are the real draw here. Staff tried, but you could tell they were stretched thin at moments. Fine for a relaxed morning, nothing more.

Came for the octopus, left happy. Cooked just right, tasted fresh and proper Dalmatian. Owner even brought over some homemade liquor—nice touch.

Came here twice during our stay. Burger was solid, tuna steak fresh. Pizza stood out the most. Staff friendly, service quick. No complaints.

The live guitar music really sets the vibe here. Pizza was solid too, came out quick. Nice little spot if you're in the area. 🎸

Stopped by for a quick breakfast. Two plates with eggs, bacon, bread, plus coffees, around 14€ total. Terrace view is nice. Only thing, no butter for the bread. Felt a bit dry. Still, decent spot for a fast bite.

Stopped by for lunch and had the grilled fish. It was fresh, flaky, and not overdressed with oil. Just simple seasoning, which I appreciated. The staff fixed a small order mix-up without any fuss. Nice to find a place that doesn't drown everything in sauce.

The open kitchen with the charcoal grill really made it for me. Had the meat menu, everything was solid. Bit of a drive up the winding road but worth it.

The grilled fish was fresh, nicely done — just a bit salty for me. That cat wandering around made the whole place feel easy.
