Came here on a weekday evening, sat outside. The sea breeze was nice, live music was decent too. Cocktails were good, but honestly the BYOB thing is what got me — no corkage if you hit the minimum spend, which we did easily. Staff checked on us a few times, not annoying about it. Just wish the drinks menu had more options under 1500 LKR.

Came here with a couple of friends and honestly the seafood noodles were the star. Grilled fish came with rice, salad and chips too, so we left super full. Service was quick but the place got a bit loud later. Still, for the price, it’s a solid pick for a casual hangout 😄

Stopped by for a quiet afternoon. Got the brownie with ice cream, pretty solid. Tiramisu was light, not too sweet. Place was calm, good for reading or a board game. Service was fine, nothing fancy. Price is okay for what you get. Might come back if I'm in the area.

The churros at King of the Mambo are a must-try! They are perfectly crispy and pair wonderfully with the breathtaking sea view, making for an indulgent treat that enhances the overall dining experience.

The veggie pizza and pesto pasta were solid, and that ocean view is hard to beat. They handled our veggie requests without any fuss. Just wish the service was a bit quicker, but the food made up for it.

Stopped by for a late lunch after the beach. Grilled seafood was fresh, pork was decent too. Sanju handled everything well, no waiting around. Place gets busy but service stays quick. Fair price for what you get. Would eat here again if I'm in Mirissa.

We stayed a week and honestly it was the most relaxed I felt the whole trip. The host remembered how I liked my tea by day two, which I thought was a nice touch. Food was really good too, lots of fresh rice and curry. Only thing is the pillows were a bit firm for me, but that's minor. Would come back again.

Came here for a quick dinner and ordered the grilled fish. You can tell it's fresh, not the frozen kind. The owner actually cooks everything himself, which I appreciate. Portion was decent for the price. Maybe slightly slow on service but the food made up for it. Would come back if I'm in the area.

Came for the fresh catch and picked a red snapper from the display. Grilled it whole with sides—fish was properly fresh, flaky, no fishy smell. Staff noticed flies bothering us and brought incense sticks over without us asking, which was thoughtful. Place itself is pretty basic, open-air seating, nothing fancy, but the food does the talking. Just wish they’d wipe the tables a bit more between guests.

The sizzler platter was so good, deep flavors and the wada pork had that perfect kick. Staff took time to explain everything when they saw we were lost.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the rice and curry packet. Honestly the curries were fresh and had proper flavor, not the watered down stuff you get sometimes. Portion was decent for the price too. Place gets busy around noon so you might wait a bit, but worth it if you're in Dambulla.

The mutton curry was decent and the sushi surprised me. Buffet had enough variety but they were slow refilling some dishes. Rotating floor with that view is the main draw. Price is a bit steep though.

The coffee caramel frappe and chocolate mousse cake were so good—rich but not too sweet. Cozy little spot for a chill catch-up with friends.

The veg curry here really stood out for me. We ordered four dishes and they were all properly flavorful, not one felt like a filler. Prices are fair for what you get. Only thing is the seating is a bit basic, but honestly I didn't mind much. I'd come back just for that curry again.

The Sunday brunch spread is solid for the price, lots of options. Staff actually kept up with the COVID rules too, which I appreciated.

Seafood platter for two was solid, prawn curry really stood out. Service was quick and friendly. Parking nearby is a bit of a hassle though. 🦐

The buffet was a mixed bag honestly. Local curries were decent, the dhal and chicken ones had good flavor. Western section though... pretty bland, should've skipped the pasta. Sat by the window, river view made up for it. Staff kept checking if we needed anything, which was nice. Price is a bit steep for what you get but the view kinda justifies it.

Good seafood and cold drinks. Staff didn't rush us, let us chill all afternoon by the beach. Solid spot.

Stopped by for dinner and grabbed a few cocktails. The Sri Lankan curry had real depth, creamy but with a proper kick. Grilled prawns were done right too, nice char without drying out. Place fills up fast, so it gets a bit loud, but the food held up. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Second time here in six months. The owners actually remember you, which is rare for a tourist spot. Portions are decent for the price, we didn't leave hungry. Got the mixed rice and curry, plenty of food for what we paid. Not the cheapest place in town, but you get what you pay for. Solid spot if you're tired of the usual tourist traps.

The dim lighting and cozy vibe were perfect for chilling out. Food came fresh and tasted good. Staff were friendly too.

The kottu here is solid, no complaints. Flavor's there, and they cook it right. Tried a couple of their rotis too, the savory ones are good, crispy like they should be. Sweet ones are alright, but I stick to the kottu mostly. Portions are decent for the price. Place gets busy around dinner, but that's a good sign. If you're in the area and want a proper feed, this does the job.

Devilled prawns were solid - good heat, decent portion for the price. Beachfront location is the main draw here. Rice came out a bit light though, had to ask for extra. They sorted it without fuss. Fine for a casual meal if you're in the area and don't mind the sand.
