The hosts were so kind, and the breakfast was ready even for our early flight. A nice glass of wine in the evening would have been a perfect touch.

Stumbled upon this place on my trip. Staff were super friendly. They even gave my kids some extra treats. Portions are huge, perfect when you're really hungry after a long day.

Friendly staff, quick service. The fish and chips were solid, not greasy. Good spot for a cold beer after work. Prices are reasonable for the area.

Been coming here for years. The beer garden is huge, perfect for a sunny afternoon. Ordered the fish and chips on the app, came out hot and crispy. Just a solid local spot.

The chips are spot on - really crisp and not at all greasy. Portions are generous for the price. Service kept up well even when it got busy, which I appreciate. A solid, reliable spot.

Decent set menu for lunch and dinner. Prices are fair for this part of town. Service was efficient and polite. Good option for a straightforward business lunch nearby.

Service was spot on for our big group. They handled the booking, split the bill, and kept everything moving smoothly. Really appreciated the attention to detail.

Had the birthday lunch for a big group here. The menu had solid choices. Food was fresh, flavours were on point. They handled our table really well, which was a nice surprise.

The steak pie is the thing to get. The filling is rich and hearty, really packed with flavour. The pastry top is just right, not too thick. It's the kind of dish you want on a cold day.

That tarte tatin was massive, easily enough for two. The apples were soft and caramelised just right, not too sweet. A solid finish.

Our tea for two was excellent my wife and myself really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this to anyone it was an excellent day out for ourselves. The service and food was excellent.

Robbie was a great host, really knew his stuff. The food was spot on. What made it for me was the wine pairing suggestion - a lovely red that went perfectly with the steak. Just a bit on the pricey side for the portion, but no complaints really.

Found this place on our first day in town. The chicken korma was spot on, really creamy and tender. Owner's a friendly chap, had a good chat. Decent portion too.

Celebrated a milestone here. The service was friendly and not at all stuffy, which was nice. But honestly, for the price point, I was expecting a bit more generous portions. The food was tasty, just left feeling a little light.

The breakfast buffet is a proper feast! Perfect for a lazy weekend catch-up with friends, though the Scottish breakfast was almost too big to finish. 😅

Tried their Spanish afternoon tea, quite a fun twist. The Cubatas cocktail was a nice sweet touch. Good amount of free parking on a Sunday, which is a plus. For what you get, the price felt about right.

The service at this restaurant is truly exceptional, with staff such as Alessandro and Ewan offering wonderfully attentive and friendly care.

The sourdough salmon and eggs was a huge portion! I did mention the toast was a bit hard, and they quickly brought out softer bread.

Josh was brilliant. Super friendly, remembered our drinks, and just made the whole thing smooth. Honestly, it’s the service that sticks with you. Might go back just for that.

Came here twice during my Edinburgh trip. The vegan full Scottish breakfast is the best I've had in the city. Coffee and pastries were solid too. Location is a bit out of the way, but worth it for the food.

Came for a drink, stayed for the chat with Alex. He really knows his family's Sicilian wines. Ended up booking a table for the next night because of him.

Came here on a Friday for the live music. The band was really good, just the right volume for a chat over dinner. Made the whole evening feel a bit more special.

Quick lunch stop. The frilly tagliatelle was spot on, sauce really clung to the pasta. Kid loved the new dip & dunk thing. Service was fast, got us in and out. Good for a quick bite.

Been here a few times. The minestrone and butternut squash soups are always fresh, clearly homemade. The rigatoni alla norma is a real winner. Servers Michael and Samuel are good, they even split our pasta for us. Tiramisu and cheesecake were a bit dry this time though.

The monk fish was excellent, and the sommelier’s wine pairing suggestion really complemented it. Service was smooth, no waiting around.

Great find near our hotel! The fillet steak was so tender and perfectly cooked. My little one was thrilled with the massive kids' portion.

Good spot for a quick coffee and a sandwich. The outdoor seating is ideal if you have a dog with you. Service was prompt, which I appreciate when I'm on a short break. Coffee was decent, nothing fancy.

Decent Italian beer selection and a few desserts to choose from. The tiramisu was alright, not too sweet. Menu's got enough variety to keep things interesting for a casual meal.

The gluten-free menu is great, and they use a separate fryer for chips. Really appreciate the attention to dietary needs.
