Had a nice lunch with colleagues here. They gave us a private room, which was very comfortable and made the whole thing so much easier. Food was good, service was friendly and efficient. A very pleasant, hassle-free experience.

Found this spot while exploring. The brownie was massive, easily shared between two. Price was fair for the size. Couldn't finish it all, took the rest home.

Decent breakfast spot, good value for the area. Staff were efficient and pleasant. The food was warm and tasty, nothing fancy but hit the spot for a quick business meeting.

The coffee and tea are decent, and the food was pretty good. Staff are consistently helpful, which makes it a nice spot to stop by.

Stumbled upon this place near the Cathedral. The pistachio latte was a proper vibrant green, topped with a really thick, creamy foam. Carrot cake was spot on – stayed lovely and moist. Just a nice, simple stop.

The almond croissant was the best I've had. The pastry was perfectly flaky, not too sweet, with a rich almond paste inside. The hot cocoa was good too, but the croissant is the reason to come back.

Been coming here for years. The exposed brick and bookshelves always make it feel like a cosy living room, not just a cafe.

The pastries are fresh and not too sweet, which I appreciate. Had a croissant with my coffee this morning - just the right amount of flaky and buttery. A good, simple spot for a quick bite.

The hummus sandwich really stood out. The bread had this fantastic flavour, and the coffee options were solid. Staff were friendly. Just a really good lunch spot.

Cosy little spot, but definitely more for grabbing and going. We popped in for a quick bite and ended up taking ours away. The food was spot on though, really good flavours. Just wish there was a bit more room to sit down properly.

Breakfast roll with bacon and scrambled eggs was solid. Good portion size for the price. Service was efficient, got my order quickly. Convenient spot for a working breakfast.

Lovely little spot, felt so cozy and relaxed. Had the smoked salmon bagel, really hit the spot. Just what I needed to escape the tourist crowds for a bit. ☕️

Popped in for a coffee and ended up staying a couple hours. They give you a little tablet with your drink, handy for browsing. Plenty of power sockets too, so I could get some work done. Nice, relaxed spot.

The staff were very friendly, especially Jo. She makes a decent cocktail and was happy to help us settle in with our little one. A good spot for families.

The sweet potato, lentil & coconut soup was a standout. Really fresh, full of flavour. Perfect for a quick, satisfying lunch. Service was efficient, got my order in and out without a fuss. Good spot for a working meal.

A real find for dog owners! My pastrami sandwich was incredible, the meat was so tender and flavourful. The staff were lovely with my pup, too. A bit pricey for a sandwich, but worth it for the quality.

Good selection of bagels and wraps. The smoothies are homemade, which is a nice touch. I liked that the seating was comfortable and spaced out, made for a relaxed lunch.

Popped in for lunch after arriving at Central Station. The staff were so friendly and efficient, which made the whole experience really smooth. I had the chicken sandwich, and it was just what I needed. A very comfortable and easy stop.

Table service is a nice touch for the price. Makes it feel a bit more special than the usual cafe.

Lovely spot for a lazy Sunday catch-up. We grabbed a table in the garden and it was just perfect with the sun out. The menu had loads of interesting options, which made choosing tricky in the best way!

The stew was the star, rich and deeply flavoured. The garlic mash underneath had just the right amount of garlic, not overpowering. It all came together really well. The coffee afterwards was a good, strong cup, which was exactly what I wanted.

The staff at Burr & Co are incredibly helpful and friendly, providing excellent service even during busy times. It's a place where you feel welcomed and valued.

Restaurant in InterContinental Hotels EDINBURGH THE GEORGE by IHG

Stopped by for a quick tea. The Earl Grey in a china mug was lovely. Plenty of seating inside and out, which is always a plus.

The mocha here is spot on. Rich, not too sweet, with a proper chocolate hit. They remembered I liked it a bit less sweet the second time I came in. That's the kind of detail that keeps me coming back for the coffee alone.

Decent spot for a simple bite. Had the soup, was good. Hot roll was solid too. Just what you need for a quick, cheap lunch.

Haven't been in a few years, but the food comes on properly warmed plates now. Nice touch.

Coffee's always smooth and creamy here, exactly how I like it. Came in for a quick cup this morning and it hit the spot. The barista got the temperature just right, not too hot to drink straight away. Simple and reliable.

My go-to in Shawlands. The food's always spot on, and their coffee pairs perfectly with the hearty breakfast.

Really liked the breakfast options here. My friend asked for something not on the menu and they were so nice about it. The avocado on my toast was perfectly ripe and fresh, which I always look for. A solid spot for a healthy start.
