The breaded haddock was the star for me – super flaky inside with a really crisp, light batter. Portions are generous, too. A solid spot in Stonehaven.

Love the vibe in this French cafe. The coffee mugs and plates have this rustic, mismatched charm that makes it feel so cozy. Grabbed a coffee and just enjoyed sitting there for a bit. Will definitely pick up a bag of their beans next time.

We popped in yesterday afternoon for a cup of tea and a scone. Lovely welcoming cheery staff. They are so quick at bringing the tea and bakes to your table. Hubby had a scone but I 'splashed' out and chose the last strawberry tart! It was so delicious, and packed with strawberries, not just one plopped on top as is usual! It is THE Best one Ive ever tasted. Cant wait to drive down from Aberdeen to go back there again. Very reasonable prices as well.

Decided to try their breakfast for a change. The small space is actually quite cosy. Had the avocado toast with poached eggs – the eggs were spot on, runny yolk and all. Coffee was decent. Good spot for a casual bite.

Love their morning rolls! Crispy sausage with soft toasted bread is a great combo. Nice spot by the beach too.

The full Scottish breakfast was cooked just right. They were also really helpful with my dairy-free request.

The breakfast portions are generous, which is nice. I really appreciate that everything is freshly cooked. The ingredients taste so vibrant. The presentation is lovely too. Good value for the price.

Cosy spot, and they're really dog-friendly which is a plus. The staff kept the place immaculate, wiping down tables as soon as people left. My spaniel was very content under the table.

The vegan sharing board was a nice surprise! Had a bit of everything, sweet and savoury. Perfect for picking at with a friend.

The chicken in a bun was spot-on comfort food. Their house lager was a surprisingly good match for the zinger-style patty.

Great spot for a quick coffee break. The pastries are top-notch - had a croissant that was fresh and flaky. Flower wall is a nice touch. Service was quick, got my order in under 5 minutes. Perfect for when you're in a rush.

Came for a quick business lunch. The bacon baguette was solid, as suggested. Service was prompt, which I appreciate. Good for a reliable bite in the area.

Lovely historic stone building, really enjoyed the atmosphere. It does get quite busy at lunch, but the staff were very patient. Had a toasted panini, simple and tasty. A comfortable spot for a quiet bite.

The staff remembered my usual order, which was a nice touch. The atmosphere felt very welcoming too.

The mac and cheese is a standout. Creamy, generous portion, and the cheese blend works. Took the family, and they handled the different orders efficiently. A solid choice for a straightforward meal.

The pistachio and banana loaf was a standout. Enjoyed it with a glass of their house red, a surprisingly good pairing for a sweet treat. The rest of the cakes looked decent, though a bit pricey.

Such a bright, clean spot! Perfect for catching up with a friend over coffee. We ended up staying for ages just chatting. The vibe is really welcoming.

The team here is so lovely. I've been bringing my grandad for lunch lately and he's over the moon. He loves the food, and the service just makes his day. A really nice spot for a relaxed catch-up.

Always a treat to pop in for their soya latte and a gluten-free brownie. The seats by the window are just right for a quiet moment, very comfortable. It's my go-to spot for a little pick-me-up.

A nice spot for brunch. The food was sweet, lovely. Service was kind and attentive. I really appreciated how comfortable the seats were, made the whole meal very relaxing.

A great spot for a quick catch-up! The decaf latte from this little kiosk is solid, and it's way less chaotic than the main store upstairs.

The shakshuka was fine, but I really came for the coffee and cake. Their gluten-free selection is impressive. I appreciate how clearly they label everything. The carrot cake was moist and not overly sweet. Perfect for a relaxed weekend treat.

Lovely spot for brunch. The Alice in Wonderland theme is subtle, not overdone. Just a few quirky details here and there. Really enjoyed the vibe, felt relaxed just sitting there with my coffee.

Lovely little spot, feels so cosy. The french toast with bacon and syrup was just right. Saw loads of delivery drivers coming and going, so they're definitely doing something right!

Been coming here for years, and the chocolate profiterole cheesecake is always spot on. A bit pricey, but it’s my go-to.

Perfect for a quick bite. The cinnamon roll is huge and fresh, really hits the spot. Seats are comfy too. Got mine to go, service was quick.

The Bagel was the star. Smoked salmon was top-notch, cream cheese had a nice tang. Kids' pancakes were fine, but my focus was on that bagel. Could eat that every weekend.
