Good spot for a quick lunch after visiting the castle. Right on the river path from the station. Service was efficient, got my soba and tempura set quickly. The view from the window seat was a nice bonus. Price was reasonable for the area.

Stopped by after seeing Matsumoto Castle. The tonkatsu set was the move — the pork cutlet had a really nice, crispy breading. They even include a little piece of pineapple for dessert, which was a fun touch. It's a popular lunch spot, so maybe expect a short wait.

The avocado shrimp cutlet burger on the poster looked interesting, might try it next time.

Sicilian food done right. The focaccia was fresh, warm. Caponata had that perfect sweet-sour thing going on. Felt like a small family spot back home.

Walked in hungry, saw the Japanese menu prices first. Ordered the wagyu steak anyway - it was really juicy. Sashimi was fresh too. Just noticed later the English menu was a bit pricier.

Came here for the first time and the lamb dumplings with apple and onion sauce were a real find. Ended up getting a second order because they were that good.

Weekend lunch set is a good deal. The pizza from the oven near the door had a nice crispy crust. Appetizer plate was okay, a bit of everything.

The staff were so friendly and patient. Even with the language barrier, they took their time explaining the menu. It made ordering feel relaxed and easy. The service was really considerate.

The tasting menu was well-paced, but for the price, I expected a bit more on the plate. The ingredients were definitely local and fresh, the seasonings were spot on, but the portions felt a little too refined for my appetite.

Venison steak was tender, not gamey at all. The owner took time to explain their smoking process, which was a nice touch.

Been coming here for years. It's just a reliable spot to grab a coffee before my train, and the station WiFi always works.

Stumbled upon this place in Nakamachi. The interior is stylish and quiet, good for focusing on work. Had a coffee and a light sandwich. The Wi-Fi was reliable, which is key for me. A solid spot for a productive break.

The counter seats are the best. Just watching the chefs grill skewers in that cozy, traditional izakaya light… it’s so calming. A nice spot to unwind after a long day.

Parking was a bit tight, but they had a second lot. The location is convenient, just up the slope from the station.

Stopped by for a late lunch on a Tuesday. The staff were really nice and noticed my dog right away. They brought him a little water bowl and a treat without me even asking. That kind of attention to detail is always appreciated.

Been here a few times since they opened. The cream pasta is the real deal — rich but not heavy, and they get the texture just right. The little garden out back is a nice spot to sit with my dog.

The duck soba is the one to get. The dipping sauce is warm and fragrant, with plenty of duck. A touch of ginger works really well.

The Hyotan Gozen set was a nice spread. The sushi and sashimi were fresh, and the mini steak was cooked just right. Tempura was crispy. For the price, you get a bit of everything. A solid choice if you want to try different things.
