I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at the Quart Pot for a family gathering. The food was amazing, especially the prawn and calamari duo, and the service was spot on with just the right timing between courses.

Been going here for years, it's a proper local. Staff know your name, and the prices haven't gone mad like other places. Live music on Fridays is a nice touch, keeps the place lively.

It was my Grandson's First Birthday - we had been eating sausage Rolls and sandwiches all day but by the evening needed a proper meal !! We read reviews and it sounded good so we gave it a try. We are not local so it was our first time. We have been to various carveries before but I have to say your food was the best I had eaten at this type of Restaurant. All the meat was tender and moist and the roast potatoes in beef fat were the best ever. In fact all the vegetables were lovely. we agreed that on our next visit to Southend we would take my daughter, her husband and our Grandson for a treat. The atmosphere was cosy and the staff were all friendly and helpful. In particular our waitress Mandy was really friendly and funny. It really made a difference to our visit. we will recommend and be back next time we are in the area.

Just popped in for a quick drink with a friend. Ordered on the app and it was at our table in minutes. Perfect for a spontaneous catch-up when you don't want a whole meal. The vibe was nice and relaxed.

Collins at the bar really knew his stuff. He suggested a cocktail I'd never have ordered myself, and it was spot on. Great energy behind the bar too, kept things lively. A real pro.

Dog-friendly spot, they had treats at the bar for my pup which was nice. We sat outside. The portion for the fish and chips was decent for the price, not huge but okay.

Really liked the vibe here. The menu's got a bit of everything, which was nice for a first visit. I went for the fish and chips – the batter was super crispy and the chips were proper chunky. Solid pint to go with it.

The cocktails were a bit pricey, but the setting in the old opera house is incredible.

Service was quick and friendly, even with special requests.

The festive menu was lovely, but I really appreciated the fresh, seasonal ingredients in my salad. Made it feel like a healthy choice amidst the holiday indulgence.

Been coming here for years, and the food's always been spot on. That's what keeps me coming back.

I really enjoyed my time at Sutton's! The atmosphere is vibrant, and the food is tasty. Special thanks to Mia and Maryna for their outstanding service!

Had a nice lunch at this cosy pub. The duck was lovely, but the real star was the lamb roast. Paired it with a robust Malbec from their list – that really made the dish sing. A bit pricey, but a solid spot for a proper meal.

Came here for a casual dinner with friends. The food arrived quickly, which was nice. I had the grilled salmon salad - the greens were really fresh and crisp, and the fish was cooked just right. A solid, healthy option on their menu. The portion felt a bit small for the price, but the quality of the ingredients was clear.

Been coming here for years. The heated outdoor bit is a real plus when it's chilly. Inside still feels like a proper local pub, not trying too hard.

Staff are always friendly. They sorted out a small mix-up with our order quickly and without any fuss. Just felt looked after.

The layout here is really nice. We had a family meal and the tables were spaced out enough that we didn't feel crowded. The whole place just has a relaxed, easy-going vibe that made it comfortable to sit and chat for a while.

A tidy Shepherd Neame pub right by the station. Felt a bit too lively for a quiet pint, but they handle groups well.

The rosemary-garlic lamb was just as described, really tender. The staff were friendly and efficient, which made for a relaxed meal. The homemade pie was good too.

The Green Man offers a fantastic selection on the menu, and the staff, especially Mike and Sophie, provide excellent service that makes you feel welcome and comfortable.

Molly provided excellent service during our meal, making sure we were well taken care of. The food was flavorful and beautifully presented, enhancing our overall experience.

The team here are just lovely. So warm and genuine, it really does feel like you're popping into a friend's place. Noticed a few fun little details in the decor too, which was a nice touch.

The walk from Tunbridge Wells Common is nice. But the real draw is the food. Had the Sunday roast beef, cooked just right, not dry at all. The gravy was rich and the Yorkshire pudding was spot on. That's what brings me back.

Been going here for years. Their double cheeseburger is the real deal - juicy patty, proper toasted bun, the works. Always hits the spot. The local crowd keeps it friendly.

The free pool on Thursdays is a nice touch for a casual evening.

Lots of veggie and vegan choices here! The flavours are really fresh and balanced, perfect for a catch-up with friends.

As someone who needs gluten-free options, I really appreciate how many safe choices they have. The focaccia was a highlight – you could tell it was freshly baked and the ingredients tasted so clean. A real find for a careful eater like me.

Came for Sunday lunch. The roast was good, but the real star was the cornfed chicken with cauliflower cheese. The portion was huge, easily enough for two people. We ended up sharing it and still had leftovers. Sticky toffee pudding was decent too.

The 'Heart of Dracula' dessert was the star for me. That homemade donut was perfectly soft, and the tangy sour cream with the fresh blueberries just worked. A really clever, tasty combo.
