Solid spot for a quick bite before a train. The sandwich selection is decent, cold drinks are handy. Water machine at the station was broken, but they filled my bottle without any fuss. Appreciated the practical help.

A lovely little spot. The cakes are the real star here, so light and not too sweet. It's a very comfortable place to sit for a while, the chairs are actually quite supportive! Prices felt fair for the quality.

Been coming here for years, and the salted caramel brownie is still the one I order every time. Just the right amount of gooey.

The cakes look so fresh, definitely trying one next time!

A solid halal spot with decent variety. Staff could've been a bit more cheerful, though.

The Bollywood tunes were a nice touch, made the whole place feel lively. Food was decent, but honestly, the music was the best part for me. Just a fun background vibe while you eat.

Breakfast spot with a huge menu. Gluten-free options and different milks, no problem. Presentation on the dishes was pretty spectacular.

Nice spot for a weekend coffee. The food was pretty good and the staff are friendly. It's got a relaxed, chilled-out vibe. A bit busy when we went, but that's to be expected.

A nice spot for a quiet brunch. The food felt fresh and simple, just what I needed. The light in the corner booth was lovely.

Been coming here for years. It's the one place where the music is always just right, never too loud, and the chairs are actually comfy. Perfect spot to chill with mates after a long day.

Popped in for a coffee and a jam scone while out walking. The scone was warm and the jam was really good. What I liked most was the vibe—it felt cosy and relaxed, just the right kind of spot to take a little break.

The ham, cheese, and onion toastie is the reason I keep coming back. Perfectly crispy bread with just the right amount of melted cheese. Staff are always nice when you pop in.

Been coming here for their English breakfast every weekend. It's just so good, the sausages are spot on. Staff are always friendly, place is clean. Really nice vibe for a lazy morning.

Been coming for years, and the staff always make you feel at home.

The chicken katsu curry was spot on, and the latte was a nice pairing with it. A solid, satisfying meal in a pleasant spot. Just wish they had a more interesting beer or wine list to go with the food.

Love the mismatched chairs and wooden floors here! Perfect spot to catch up with friends over coffee. They've got loads of vegan and gluten-free options too.

Lovely spot with a rustic feel, those stone walls are great. The seating is really comfortable, which is so important to me. I had a drink and just relaxed there for ages, it was very peaceful.

The jacket potato was the star. Skin was crisp, inside fluffy and buttery. Side salad had a nice tangy dressing. Fresh ingredients, simple but done right. Good value for a quick lunch.

Lovely little spot near the village centre. We sat outside in the sun, which was nice. The food is all cooked fresh - my chicken and leek pie was spot on, really tasty. Good selection of hot meals and cakes.

Stopped in early Saturday. Barista Astray was very welcoming, made a good flat white. Quick service, quiet spot to start the day. A solid local option.

The catering sandwiches were so fresh, with crisp veggies and quality bread. They even included lovely vintage plates, which was a thoughtful touch.

The banana bread was spot on, moist and not too sweet. Paired it with a flat white. The salted caramel shortbread had a nice crunch, but a bit rich for my taste. Solid coffee accompaniments.

The upstairs is a great spot to work or meet friends. Lots of natural light, feels spacious. Their coffee is reliably good, and I appreciated the short but thoughtful selection of teas. A solid choice for a quiet afternoon with a decent drink.

The coffee's solid, but those vegan cupcakes are the real star. Moist, not too sweet. Service is always friendly, even when they're busy.

Live music on Sundays is a treat. The sound quality is top-notch, though drinks are a bit pricey.

Great start to the day. The Bloc Brunch on that massive sourdough was spot on, quality ingredients. A glass of fresh orange juice was the perfect pairing, really brightened up the plate. Staff were lovely, music was a nice touch. Felt very relaxed.

Grabbed a takeaway breakfast here. The staff were so friendly, it put me in a good mood for the whole morning. The coffee was really good too.

Been coming here for years, and the drinks menu keeps me coming back. They've always got something interesting on tap – their kombucha is my go-to, but I'll try a fresh juice if I'm feeling adventurous. It's just a nice, reliable spot for something different than the usual coffee shop.

Onsen Tamago was the standout. Runny yolk, creamy texture. Sweetcorn fritters decent. Coffee fine. Staff were pleasant. That's it.
