The goulash soup here is the real deal—proper paprika kick and loaded with beef. I ordered the pork medallions too and honestly the portion was bigger than I expected for the price. Our waitress spoke English which helped a lot since my Hungarian is basically nonexistent. Place was busy but we got seated quick.

Good coffee and decent cake selection. WiFi worked well for getting some work done. Prices are a bit steep but the quality is there.

Dessert selection is solid, plenty of options. Staff got me in and out quick, which I appreciate during lunch rush. Indoor and outdoor seating both available, no wait for a table. Paid with card, no hassle. Fine spot if you need something sweet and fast.

Been coming here on and off for years. The soups are what keep me coming back, honestly. Always well-seasoned, proper comforting stuff, not like the watery versions you get at other places. Had the lemonade again last time too, still good. Place has stayed consistent, which is more than I can say for most spots around here.

The lemonade here is seriously good—fresh, not too sweet, just right. Pizza was okay, nothing crazy. But honestly the lighting kinda killed the vibe, could barely see what I was eating. Still, that drink alone might bring me back.

Ordered a cake in the morning, picked it up same day. Mr. Bán sorted it all out, looked great and tasted good too. Nice to find that kind of service.

The wedding dinner was well handled, room looked great. The fried meat platter was plenty for everyone. Soup was solid.

Food was good, no complaints there. Staff polite, helped us with the menu. Place felt nice inside, not too loud. Had a solid meal, left full. Nothing crazy, but it did the job. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but fine for a one-off.

Came here with friends for dinner and honestly the daily specials are where it's at. I got the grilled fish and it came with this buttery sauce I'm still thinking about. Service was super chill, not rushing us at all. Prices are a bit steep but the portion made up for it. Would come back for that dish alone.

The garlic soup had real depth, not just salty broth. Draniki were crispy outside, soft inside. Portions are huge, honestly could split one plate between two people. Prices fair for what you get. Didn't need anything else after that meal.

The most homely spot we found in Balatongyörök. Food was delicious, and they didn’t rush us at all. Just a really chill place to eat.

Came here on a Sunday when nothing else was open and left impressed. Portions are enormous—the pork knuckle could feed two. Salmon and spinach pasta, chicken with pesto risotto, and the veggie salad were all tasty. Service was kind even with a language barrier. Just wish the menu listed portion weights to avoid waste.

The terrace view alone is worth stopping here. Had coffee and a slice of cake, decent quality, nothing fancy. Staff were friendly enough. Prices are a bit steep, but you're paying for that scenery. Would've loved a glass of wine instead, but we were still in daytime mode. Nice spot to just sit and watch the city for a while.

Came for the potato swirls, stayed for the chill vibe. Kids were having a good time, staff didnt bother us. Food came out fast enough. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something easy.

We had our wedding reception here with 45 guests, lots of kids. The setup worked out great—put the little ones to bed in the AC rooms while we partied on the terrace. Food was solid, and the hosts even drove some local guests home after.

Nice spot right on Platán beach. Cocktails were properly made, not watered down like most places. Friendly staff too, though it got busy later in the afternoon.

Decent spot for a quick bite. Portions are big, I couldn't finish mine and they gave me a box to take it home. Prices are fair for what you get. One waiter didn't speak much English, but we managed. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

The almond breaded chicken fillet with mixed salad was the star of my meal—big portion, cooked just right. My friend got the chicken breast with liver ragout over rice and honestly that sauce was so rich, I kinda wished I'd ordered it instead. Place was pretty busy but food came quick enough.

The terrace is cozy enough, and the grilled stuff came out pretty tasty. Steak was decent but I kept wishing for some fries on the side.

Owner recommended the local dishes and even tried a bit of Italian with us. Food was solid, service friendly.

Tried it for the lunch menu, the fish soup was really good. Prices are a bit steep but I guess you pay for the promenade view. Staff were nice enough.

Nice spot right in the center. Got my coffee and cake fast, service was polite. Nothing mind-blowing but solid for a quick break.
