The room was so spacious and clean, just what I needed. It's a busy pub downstairs, but honestly, you wouldn't know it up here. So quiet. A really comfy spot to unwind.

The afternoon tea was lovely. I really appreciated how fresh the sandwich fillings were, and the scones were still warm. A proper treat.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. They got the balance right - attentive but not hovering over you all the time. Made the whole thing feel relaxed.

Lunch visit, got a table easily. Calamari was good, kids finished their bolognese. Service was prompt and friendly, which helped with a quick meal.

Nice spot for a pre-Christmas prosecco. A bit pricey for the pour, but a good break from shopping.

Been coming here for years, it’s a proper local spot. The owners always remember you. Menu’s simple but they do a solid roast on Sundays. Portions are decent, nothing fancy. Just a reliable meal.

Great spot near the cricket ground. The cask ales are spot on, and the table service is a nice touch even if you're just drinking. Friendly staff who know their beers. The cricket stuff on the walls is interesting to check out.

Stayed a few nights for work. The room was snug and comfortable, nice bedding. Breakfast was good, plenty of parking. The house red by the glass was surprisingly decent, a proper start to the day.

The staff were just so lovely. They noticed my water was low before I did, and checked in without being overbearing. That kind of attentive service is a real treat. Made the whole evening feel relaxed and easy.

The New Mill is a really well designed and spacious restaurant, the staff are very pleasant and helpful. They have a good menu and the food is excellent. A very enjoyable and comfortable experience. I have eaten there many times and the different people I have taken there share the same opinion.

Great beer garden out the back, really comes into its own on a sunny afternoon. Solid choice of local ales. Staff are a friendly bunch, which makes a difference. A proper local.

Been coming here for years now. The portions are still massive for the price, which is why I keep coming back. You get a proper, filling meal without breaking the bank.

Had my son's first birthday in their function room. The staff were really on top of things, handled all the little details without us having to ask. Made for a relaxed afternoon for us parents.

Love that they're dog-friendly! Had the avocado toast with a poached egg, and the coffee was spot on. Staff were really welcoming, made it feel like a cosy neighbourhood spot. Will definitely be back with my pup.

Kian was such a nice server, really made us feel welcome. The food was spot on, especially the truffle pasta. This was definitely the best Zizzi we went to on our trip.

Friday pizza night is a solid option for a quick bite. You can pick your own toppings which is great. The steak was decent too, but the pizza came out super fast. Perfect when you're short on time.

Lovely vibe, but Ben the host really stood out. He was so attentive without being overbearing. Noticed we were done with our starters and had the mains timed perfectly. That kind of service makes all the difference.

Popped in for lunch without a reservation. Service was quick, no fuss. Got a small complimentary lemonade, which was decent. The calzone was good, pizza was fine too. Came out fast, which is what you want on a busy day.

The decaf is a proper coffee, not just some weak flavoured milk. That’s what got me. Had it with their Oatly barista oat milk and it was actually rich. A solid find for a decent cup.

Nice view of the river. Solid veggie options. Had the mushroom risotto, decent portion. A bit pricey for what it is, but okay.

Booked for a birthday. The chocolate cheesecake was the star - rich, not too sweet, with a perfect crumbly base. Staff were really friendly, had a nice chat after. Good vibe in the room.

Popped in just before closing, and they still had a good selection of vegan options. Really appreciated that the ingredients felt fresh, even late in the day. The staff were lovely and offered a complimentary drink, which was a nice touch.

The chips were surprisingly fresh and crispy, a nice change from the usual soggy ones. Good portion size too.

The food is pretty good and the place has a nice buzz. Tables are a bit close though.

Been coming here for years now. The coffee's always spot on, exactly how I like it. That's the main thing for me. Some places change their beans or the grind, but not here. It's reliable.

Stumbled upon this spot tucked away in a side street. The seating area is really spacious, which I appreciate. I noticed the ingredients in my salad were exceptionally fresh, crisp greens and ripe tomatoes. That made the meal for me.

Had the steak and kidney pie for lunch. The filling was rich and the pastry was just the right kind of flaky. Staff were really friendly, which made it a nice, relaxed meal.
