Been here a few times now. The fish is always moist and flaky, chips have that proper crunch. Just hits the spot every time.

Popped in for a coffee and a slice of cake after a walk around Shaldon. The place has a really nice, relaxed vibe. The staff were friendly and quick, even though there was a bit of a queue.

Our son's 18th was here. He had the Tomahawk steak and said it beat a Michelin one he tried in France! 🥩 Made the night for him (and us, knowing it was safe for his coeliac diet).

Portions are very generous here. The smoked duck curry was tasty, but I couldn't finish it all. The seafood dishes also had some massive pieces of fish. Decent value for the price.

The tasting menu was pricey but honestly, the portions were generous enough that I left comfortably full. You get what you pay for with the quality of the local ingredients.

Been coming here for years, and the marina view from the window tables is still the main draw for me. Perfect for a quiet evening watching the boats. The sunset last week was a real treat.

The sea view from the table was the real star. We had a window seat and it was just stunning, especially as the sun started to go down. The outdoor garden looked really nice too, will have to come back in warmer weather to try it.

Stumbled upon this spot and was impressed. The ingredients were so fresh, you could really taste the quality in every bite.

Been through most of the menu, and it's all solid. The mussels and the lamb really stood out.

The chicken tikka jalfrezi special was pretty good, with a decently thick sauce. Staff were friendly.

Stayed overnight, the room was clean and warm. The bed was super comfy, got a great night's sleep. It's basic, but honestly, for the price I paid, it had everything I needed. Can't complain.

Been coming here for years, the Sunday roast is the real deal. The beef is always spot on, falls apart with a fork. They do a smaller portion if you ask, which is handy. Decent spot for a relaxed Sunday.

Nice spot for a drink after work. The local beer selection is solid, and the outdoor seating is a plus when the weather's good. Gets a bit crowded on weekends, but that's expected. Good for a quick pint.

The staff were really friendly and attentive, especially when we asked for a few little changes to our order.

Lovely spot by the water. The burger was really tasty, and the wrap too. I appreciated the comfortable seating, made it easy to relax and enjoy the view.

Lovely spot for a drink by the water. The outdoor seating really gives you that holiday feeling on a sunny day.

Took the kids here for a late lunch. The dedicated play area was a real plus, kept them occupied. My mushroom linguine was solid, good flavour. Menu has decent variety. Service was efficient.

The tasting menu was a real treat. Every course looked stunning, like a little piece of art on the plate. The flavours were spot on, and the wine pairings just worked with each dish. A lovely, relaxed evening.

The team here, shoutout to Dion, really made us feel looked after. So friendly and attentive without being overbearing. A nice change from the usual rushed service you get these days.

The steak frites was a proper rare, just pink in the middle. The frites were crisp and salty. Good portion for the price.

Lovely owners, very cosy spot. We had the Sunday roast, the beef was tender and the gravy was spot on. Just a bit of a wait for the food, but they were clearly busy. Would pop back in.

Been coming here for years, tucked away near Fleet Walk. It's the consistency that keeps me coming back. The coziness and friendly staff make it feel like a proper local spot, never lets you down.

Great for a quick bite with the family. Breakfast was tasty and the staff were really patient with my picky kid. 👍

Lovely spot for a quiet dinner. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients felt in my main course. The greens were crisp and the fish tasted clean, not at all heavy. It made for a light yet satisfying meal. The atmosphere was cozy, just right.

Popped in for a pre-dinner drink. The space is really nice, and the service was quick. The wine list had a decent selection of by-the-glass options, which is always a plus for me. Saw some great-looking plates going to other tables. Might come back for a proper meal sometime.

Service was spot on. Our group was pretty big, but they handled it without a hitch. Everything came out hot and together, which is rare. The staff were quick and actually seemed to enjoy being there. No complaints at all.

The chef made me a special off-menu dish for my dietary needs, and it was honestly so good. The staff were really nice about it too.

Been coming here for years, and the granola with poached fruit and Greek yoghurt is always spot on. It’s the one thing I know I can count on, no matter the season. That consistency is why I keep coming back.
