Big portions, friendly staff. Coffee's decent. As a drinker, I'd have liked a better beer selection to go with the hearty food. Still, a solid spot for a bite after a ride.

Came with a big group of friends last Friday. The staff handled our table so well, no one felt rushed even though we stayed ages just chatting. Made it easy to catch up properly.

The savoury tapas are the main event here, really solid. Most plates are generous. The desserts, though, were a bit on the small side for the price. Still, a decent spot for a casual bite.

A proper, hearty steak and kidney pie. Exactly what you want on a rainy afternoon. The place has a nice, cosy feel to it. They roast their own beans too, so the coffee is a real treat.

Been coming here for years, and the Amarone is still a proper deal. Always order a bottle when we're downstairs for something low-key. Just hits the spot every time.

The Sunday family assortment was generous and fresh. Loved that the chef came out to check on us.

Been coming here for years, and their wood-fired pizza is the reason. Always get the same one - toppings are generous, and that garden oven gives it a proper char. It's just consistently good.

Been coming here for years. Their fish and chips are solid - crispy batter, good portion. Quick service, which is a plus. They do gluten-free, my wife appreciates that.

Stopped in after seeing the bakery window. The staff were quite friendly, and I appreciated the decent gluten-free selection. Prices felt fair, especially compared to some of the chains nearby. The bread was fine, though a little dry.

A really pleasant spot to stop after shopping. The coffee was good, but what stood out was how comfortable the seats were. They're the kind you can actually relax in for a bit, which isn't always the case. A nice, calm atmosphere too.

The BBQ chili wings are a solid choice for takeaway. Portions are decent, and the sauce is really tasty.

Lovely spot for lunch on a sunny day. The outdoor tables on The Pantiles are just right for watching the world go by. I had the prawn sandwich on that soft seeded bread, very nice. Service was friendly and unhurried, which I really appreciate. A very comfortable way to spend an afternoon.

A lovely independent spot. Their quiche is always spot on, and the coffee is reliably good. I do wish they had a slightly more interesting wine list for a casual glass with lunch though. Staff are very friendly.

Always impressed with how fast and friendly the service is here. The team is just so polite, even when the place is packed. Makes you feel properly looked after.

Been coming here for years, and the lamb is always spot on. Cooked just right, never overdone. It's the one thing I know I can count on every time.

Lovely spot for a drink. Sat outside in the Market Square on a warm evening—the atmosphere was really nice and relaxed. The staff and regulars are friendly, which makes it feel welcoming.

Service was prompt and efficient. Staff were friendly without being overbearing. Food arrived quickly, which was appreciated as we were on a tight schedule. Good spot for a business lunch.

Been coming here for years. The sourdough is always spot on, and you can tell they use fresh mushrooms, not the tinned stuff. Good for a simple, light lunch.

The pizza crust was so light and fresh, made with quality ingredients. I appreciated the simple tomato sauce and the mozzarella tasted really fresh. Just a lovely, clean meal that left me feeling good.

The Sunday roast was the star for me. The beef was a proper thick cut, almost like a steak, not just thin slices. Really generous portion, left me happily stuffed. Desserts were a nice sweet finish.

The fish and chips were spot on. The batter was crisp and light, not greasy at all, and the chips were proper thick-cut. The mushy peas had a good minty kick. Just what you want from a seaside pub.

The full English was spot on, especially the sausages. Toast was buttery and the coffee hit the mark.
