Family-run place. Owners are lovely, really made us feel at home. Had the lamb shank, cooked perfectly. Just a bit tight on space between tables.

Large menu with some decent veggie choices. The breakfast sausages had a nice, herby flavour to them. Eggs were fried just right, not too runny. Solid spot for a proper fry-up.

The chicken wings were spot on, and the wine list had some really interesting pairings to go with them.

Service was lovely even on a quiet Tuesday. The staff took time to explain the sourcing of the vegetables in my salad, which I really appreciated. They seemed genuinely happy to chat about the ingredients. A nice, attentive touch.

Been here a few times. It's a nice, bright spot, good for a casual coffee or lunch. They've got comfy seats inside and out. Really appreciate that they're fine with dogs and kids – makes it easy for us locals.

Got a table for lunch without a booking. The steak was cooked perfectly to my liking, which is rare these days. Really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted. A bit pricey for a weekday, but the quality was there.

The portions were huge for what we paid. My partner and I shared a main and still had leftovers to take home. Honestly, you get a lot of food here.

Came here with a few mates for a catch-up. The vibe was just right for that - buzzing but you could still talk. Cocktails were really good, well-balanced and strong enough. My old fashioned was spot on. A solid spot for a casual night out.

Been here a few times. The Kerala houseboat bit in the corner is a nice touch, makes it feel cosy. Good spot for a family dinner, not too loud.

The staff are so nice, really made us feel welcome. Ali in particular was brilliant with my little one, which meant we could actually relax and enjoy the meal. A real plus when you're dining out with a toddler!

The Plough Inn offers a fantastic dining experience with beautifully cooked meals and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend the Sunday roast!

Decent portions for the price. The fish and chips plate was huge, especially compared to other spots on the seafront.

The upstairs area has a charming tavern theme with antiques and old books. It's a nice spot. The outdoor seating is perfect for sunny days, though the tables are a bit close together.

First time here, and the new outdoor seating is a nice touch. Perfect spot for a pint and some people-watching on a sunny afternoon. Service was friendly, beers were reasonably priced.

Celebrated my birthday with their buffet. The hosts were really helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.

The Sussex cream tea is a solid choice. The scone was warm, and the clotted cream generous. Paired it with a pot of their house blend, which was robust enough to stand up to the richness. A nice, simple treat.

Came across their little shop. Picked up a local cheese and some chutney. The selection is really nice, stuff you don't see everywhere. Good spot if you need a different kind of gift.

Kim was so lovely and attentive! Made our girls' night feel really special. The vibe was perfect for catching up, not too loud. Food was nice, but honestly, the service was the highlight. Would come back just for that!

Great spot in the centre of town. Drinks are really well priced. Upstairs has a pool table and darts, which was a nice surprise. Just popped in for a quick pint and ended up staying longer.
