The dumplings were fine but the sauce was too thin. Place looks nice inside, real Slovak folk vibe. Second floor was cold though, food came out a bit lukewarm. Quick enough for lunch break.

The margherita here is the real deal. Crust has that proper char from the wood oven, chewy and slightly blistered. Sauce is bright, not too sweet. Toppings are generous. Ate the whole thing way too fast. Maybe could use a bit more salt, but honestly, I'd order it again without thinking twice.

Roast boar was really good, tender and not dry at all. Venison goulash had a nice rich sauce. Prices felt fair for what you get. Place was pretty quiet on a Tuesday night, which worked for me. Solid pick if you want something a bit fancier without going overboard.

The kids’ soup came out wrong, but the waitress Ilona fixed it fast and even took something off the bill. Nice to see they actually care about making it right.

The waiter was friendly and quick with refills, though I noticed a couple tables waiting longer. My glass of red paired nicely with the duck—solid choice for a casual dinner.

The lunch menu is a solid deal, no question. Everything came out fresh and full of flavor. I went with a glass of sauvignon blanc to match the seafood starter, worked out nicely. Staff were polite, didn't rush us. A dependable spot in the center, though the tables are a bit close together.

Stopped by for breakfast and honestly the kimchi stole the show. Coffee was solid too, not too bitter. Place was pretty quiet when I went, which was nice. Service was chill, no rush. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

Came here with a couple of friends and honestly the food was the highlight. I had the bryndzové halušky and it was properly good, not the touristy version. The stream next to the terrace makes it feel super chill. Only thing is the QR code menu, kinda annoying when your phone is dying. But yeah, solid spot for a casual dinner.

We stopped by for lunch and I ordered the pierogi with mushrooms. The dough was soft, filling tasted fresh, not too heavy. Portion was decent, I actually couldn't finish it. My friend got the pancakes, those looked good too. Place has a cozy, homey feel. Only thing, service was a bit slow, but I didn't mind much.

The vegan hot chocolate was way richer than the regular one. Sat in the glassed-in front area, pretty cozy for people-watching. Cakes looked good too, didn't try one though.

The villa itself is gorgeous — fireplace, open kitchen, straight out to the garden. Lake view is the highlight. Only downside: the access road is still rough and unfinished. Felt a bit much for what you get.

The pho here in Martin is really solid, noodles are always cooked right. Portions are generous too. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but it's fine for a quick meal.

Stopped in after skiing, starving. Got the pork schnitzel and it was a solid plate for the price. Big portion, came with decent sides. Place was warm and not too loud. Service was quick enough, no complaints. For what you pay, you definitely don't leave hungry. That's the main thing for me.

Nice spot to sit with a laptop for a while. Fruit tea was solid, and the staff handled English fine. Chairs could be a bit comfier but it worked for a few hours.

The kwasnica soup here is really good, and portions are big enough to share. Prices are fair for what you get. Would come back with friends for a casual dinner.

The pizza was decent — hand-stone-baked with a good crust. Burger was pretty good too, fresh patty. Place looks modern inside, staff polite. Fine for a casual meal.

The tasting menu with wine pairing was solid. Trout and duck were both well-prepared, plating looked good too. Staff knew their stuff. Service was efficient, no complaints.

Great views and solid food. Menu's huge but quality stays consistent. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Worth stopping by if you're nearby.

Lovely spot by the river, kids could play right next to the terrace while we ate. Food was decent, nothing fancy. Just bring cash, no card payments.

The pork tenderloin in mushroom sauce was a bit dry, sadly. But the side salad dressing was so good I almost asked for more. Friendly staff, big portions.

The Caesar salad and pizza were solid, and they let me stay on the terrace after closing. Nice spot for a quick lunch.

Food was really good again, same as always. The place is small though, gets packed by noon. I managed to grab a seat by the window but it was a bit tight. Still, the lunch special was tasty and came out fast. Just wish there was a bit more room to move around.

Room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast had enough options, nothing fancy but solid. Parking and wifi worked fine. Good spot if you just need a place to sleep.

Solid local beer selection and the lunch specials are priced right. Tried the traditional dishes—decent portions, nothing fancy. Service was quick enough for a workday stop.

The food was decent and portions were huge, that's for sure. But the service felt a bit all over the place - we had to wave someone down for a dish that never showed up, and the guy didn't even seem bothered. At least the kids' playground kept the little ones busy while we waited.
