Been coming here for a while now. Still love that most of the veggies come straight from their own garden. Vanda and Marco always remember us, which is nice.

The pastries were still warm when I walked in, and the hot chocolate is properly thick. Solid for a quick stop, nothing fancy.

The cakes here are seriously good, my go-to for a pastry and coffee in Locarno. Sat outside with a view towards the lake and promenade gardens, perfect for a catch-up with a friend. Staff were friendly too. Just wish they had a bit more shade, got a little warm sitting out there. 😅

Gluten-free beer options are actually rare to find, so this place was a nice surprise. Tried one of their picks and it hit the spot. Lively vibe but not too loud.

Stayed here during that July heatwave and honestly the room got pretty stuffy at night. No AC made sleeping rough. But the view from the upper floors kinda made up for it. Simple rustic style fits the whole nature thing. Would come back in cooler weather though.

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed their set menu. Food was solid, nothing fancy, but the service kept things moving. Had a glass of the local red with my main — paired better than I expected for the price point. Place was quiet enough to actually talk. Fair deal overall.

The lemonade here is what got me. Tart, not too sweet, actually tastes like real lemons. Brownie was dense and fudgy, the way I like it. Didn't try the brunch but the cake selection looked solid. Place is tucked away in the old town, easy to miss. Fine by me, less crowd. Coffee was decent too, but that lemonade is the reason I'd come back.

Solid Swiss classics, and the wine list had a few nice local picks. Service was friendly, no complaints.

Pizza came out fast, which is what I needed. Crust was crispy, almost too crispy, but fine for a quick bite while shopping. Nothing fancy, just solid and quick. If you're in a hurry and want something decent, this works. I'd grab it again if I'm nearby and short on time.

Came in around 2pm so it wasn't crowded. Pizza was solid, crust had a good chew. Portion size felt right for the price, didn't leave hungry. Service was quick, no complaints there. Maybe not the best pizza I've had in town, but for what you pay, it's decent. Would go back if I'm in the area and want something easy.

Stopped by for dinner near the lake. Tasting menu was solid—fresh ingredients, well executed. Service was polite, no complaints there. Setting is nice if you get a table with a view. Slightly pricey for what it is, but acceptable for the location. Would consider coming back if I'm in the area again.

The Michelin star food here is a true delight, although we experienced some delays in service. Despite that, the quality of the dishes we tried was impressive, and I look forward to returning to sample more from the menu.

The chalkboard menu outside made it easy to decide, even with my limited German. I just pointed at what I wanted. Coffee was solid, and the ice cream was pretty good too. Nothing fancy, but a decent spot for a quick break. Prices felt fair for the area.

The Costata di manzo was really good—tender and full of flavor. Quiet spot for dinner, service was on point too. Maybe a bit pricey but I’d go back.

Stopped by for lunch, sat by the pool with the hills right there. Pretty chill spot. Got the grilled fish, it was decent, maybe slightly overcooked. Service was friendly enough, didn't rush me. Fine for a lazy afternoon if you're in the area.

The salami pizza was the highlight—thin crust, baked just right. Burger was decent too. Portion size felt fair for what you pay.

Service was really friendly and attentive, even though the place was busy. We never had to wait long for anything, which I appreciated. The food was good, especially the mix of cooked and raw dishes. I had a cocktail from their small sake-focused list, it fit the Japanese vibe nicely. Dessert was a touch too sweet for my taste, but everything else was solid.

Stopped by for dinner and the pizza was really fresh, light crust. The local wine pairing was a nice touch too. Service was friendly, nothing fancy.

Been coming here for a while now, and the seasonal menu keeps me hooked. Had the spring special last week, still thinking about it. Place gets packed quick, so I always book ahead. Service is fine, nothing over the top, but they remember you. That's why I keep going back.

The gelato here is pretty good—creamy, and they’ve got a decent range of flavors, including a few vegan sorbets. You can tell the owner cares about what they’re doing. I had the pistachio and it was fine, maybe slightly sweet for my taste, but I’d still go back.
