The food is absolutely amazing. Michelin does this place a disservice rating it at one star. A very solid 2 star in my opinion. Add the lakeside view and it is hard to beat. Superb wine pairing using local and South Italian wines.

The Vallemaggia menu was solid—food came out well-prepared and tasty. Portions felt fair for what you pay. Staff checked in just enough without hovering.

The pistachio gelato was spot on—creamy, dense, real nut flavor. But the cone turned soft within minutes. Should've just gotten a cup. Next time I'll know better.

The mezze spread was solid, and the fattoush really popped. A glass of their Lebanese white would pair nicely.

Lovely terrace right by the lake, that view alone is worth stopping for. Sushi tasted fresh, and the staff let us sit without rushing us. Maybe not the cheapest place, but for a quiet lunch it felt right. I’d come back if I’m in the area again.

Lovely little spot in Gandria for a quick bite. The quiche was fresh and the owner actually took time to chat, which I appreciated. Seating’s pretty basic though, so don’t plan on lingering too long.

Very nice restaurant with delicious and high quality food. The wine and service was also almost perfect. It is a good recommendation for Italian food.

Been coming here for years. Lobster pasta is still as good as the first time I tried it. Portions are generous, parking's easy. That's why I keep going back.

The chestnut dessert was creamy and not too sweet—really nicely balanced. Portion felt generous for what they charge.

The place has that upscale feel without being stuffy. I keep coming back for the quality of the ingredients—never been disappointed. Service was on point too.

Service was quick and efficient. Two waiters managed the whole terrace, handled cocktails, coffee, and food without a hitch. Impressive for a busy afternoon. I didn't have to flag anyone down for the bill either. Solid spot if you're in the area and don't want to waste time.

The puntine ribs here are the real deal. Tender, smoky, fall-off-the-bone. I’ve had a lot of ribs around Lugano, these are easily the best. Antipasto was solid too, and the wine list has some good local picks. Price felt fair for what you get. Just go for the ribs.

Friendly staff and the pizza tasted good, but honestly the portion was a bit small for the price. Fine if you just want a quick bite.

Stumbled onto this place by the river and honestly the setting alone got me. Peaceful, pretty, just nice to sit there. Food felt like proper homemade cooking, nothing fancy but real. The couple running it were warm and made it easy to relax. Wish I lived closer, would come back just for that calm vibe.

Decent spot for lunch around here. The set menu is reasonably priced and portions are pretty generous. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Only small thing - the decor feels a bit tired, but it didn't bother me much. Fine for a casual meal if you're in the area.

We had an amazing massage before our delicious dinner at la Piazzetta! It was all fantastic! Thank you :)

Finally got to try this place after staring at it from our hotel balcony all week. The menu's got some creative stuff going on, ingredients tasted fresh. Service was quick and the staff seemed genuinely nice. Even our dog got a warm welcome, which was a plus. Pretty solid dinner overall.

We went for the set menu for two and honestly, that was plenty. The food was solid, but what really stuck with me was the seating. The chairs are those low wooden ones, and after an hour my back was starting to complain. Service was quick though, even with the place packed.

Gluten-free pizza actually held up well, decent crust and taste. Marco took good care of us without hovering. Place was busy but fine.

Loved the venison here — super tender and full of flavor. The house wine is a nice touch, made from grapes grown right behind the place. Perfect for a casual dinner with friends. Only thing is it got a bit busy later, so we couldn't linger too long. Still, really solid spot. 🍷

The grilled octopus paired beautifully with a crisp white wine — simple menu, solid seafood, no fuss.

Stopped by for a drink and ended up staying longer than planned. The Amaretto Sour was spot on, not too sweet. We grabbed a platter too, cold cuts and cheese were solid. Music was decent, not overpowering. Prices felt fair for Lugano, which is saying something. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

The gluten-free options here are a real plus. I had the gelato and it was creamy, just the right texture. Service was friendly and I didn't feel rushed. Nice spot if you want a relaxed meal without fuss.

The staff here were really welcoming, even when it got busy during lunch. They stayed friendly and on top of things the whole time.

The pistachio cake was the highlight. Seriously good, one of the best I've had. Pizzas were solid too, thin and crispy crust. Service was quick, which I appreciated since I was in a rush. Place was a bit busy but fine for a quick bite. Would go back for that cake again.

Been coming here for a while now. The beetroot risotto still gets me every time—creamy, not too heavy, and the color is just stunning. Service stays consistent too, which I appreciate. It’s near the marina, easy to find. Yeah, it’s not cheap, but I keep coming back for that dish.

The coffee was decent, nothing crazy. Had a slice of the cake too, it was moist enough. Staff opened early for us because of the rain, that was nice of them. But honestly, I just came for the food. The cake did the job.

Lovely little spot in Lugano with a pergola-covered garden. Had a great lunch there—decent mix of local and ethnic dishes, prices fair. Staff were friendly too.
