We sat outside and the view was really nice. Got a few dishes and everything tasted fresh. They adjusted one plate for my dietary thing without making a fuss. Interior looked cozy too, though we stayed on the terrace the whole time. Just a heads up, it’s a bit on the pricier side for the portion size.

The food was really fresh and well-prepared—I appreciated how light the vegetables were. Service lagged a bit, especially waiting for drinks, but the meal itself made up for it.

Stopped by for lunch, got the beef fillet with porcini mushrooms. Cooked rare just like I asked. The risotto stayed hot on that stoneware plate the whole time, which I didn't expect. Nice view of the lake too, though it was a bit crowded. Solid spot if you're in the area.

The garden view really is something else, you can't beat it on a sunny day. I had the rösti and it was good, but honestly the portion felt a bit small for the price. I get that you're paying for the scenery, but I left still a little hungry. Fine for a one-off lunch, just don't come starving.

The view of Lake Maggiore is really something. Bruschetta was fresh and the tiramisu hit the spot. Service friendly too.

The grilled meat was solid and the patio’s nice with the grape vines. Portion felt a bit small for what we paid, though. Staff were friendly enough.

The suckling pig here is the real deal. Crispy skin, tender meat, no fuss. That’s the only thing I’d come back for, honestly. The rest of the meal was fine, but the pig carried it. Service didn’t matter much to me, but they didn’t get in the way either. Already thinking about that crackling again.

The three-course lunch for CHF 49 hit the spot. Pasta was cooked right, veal was tender. Service fine, but I'm here for the food anyway.

The service and quality of food where very good. We enjoyed our vegan meal a lot. Nice options for vegans and we loved the Mezze that can be shared.

Sushi was fresh, the Unagi nigiri really stood out. Volcano California roll was decent too. Solid spot if you're in Ascona and craving Japanese.

Lovely spot right by the lake, staff were really welcoming. Parking was easy to find too. But 23 francs for a Greek salad? That's steep, even for Switzerland. I get that you're paying for the view, but still. Food was decent, just not sure it matches the bill.

Stopped here on the way up from the lake. View's the real payoff, honestly. Small menu, but the pasta was solid. Prices fair for the area. Service was friendly enough. Just a heads up, it gets busy around noon, so you might wait a bit for a table.

Pizza dough was light and airy, exactly how I like it. Staff kept checking on us, almost too much but friendly. Solid spot for a casual dinner. Nothing fancy, just good pizza. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but I'd come back.

Came for a quick drink and ended up staying way longer than planned 😅 The staff were so friendly and the water view is gorgeous. They even brought out little snacks which was a nice surprise. Perfect spot to catch up with friends, though it did get a bit busy later.

We found this place by accident and honestly the boat ride over was half the fun. Sat by the water, very peaceful. Food was fresh and tasty, nothing fancy but done right. Only thing is it's a bit out of the way, but that's kind of the point. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

The pasta was solid and the staff didn't rush us at all. We've been a few times now and it stays consistent. Just wish the tables weren't packed so close together, felt a bit tight.

The sommelier picked two estate wines that were spot on. Beetroot ravioli was delicate, nicely balanced. Portions run small, but the quality makes up for it.

The saffron and scallop risotto Federico suggested was really good. Nice spot if you want a proper meal without any fuss.

Calamari and seafood pasta were solid, wine pairing worked well too. Friend hyped it up and honestly it delivered. Service was attentive without hovering.

The outdoor garden is really lovely, with a playground right there for the kids. We had the mushroom risotto and grilled chicken, both were pretty good. Only thing is, sitting close to the play area gets noisy. Fine if you're not expecting a quiet meal. I'd probably sit further in next time.

The grilled ribs smell incredible the second you walk in. Wine’s fairly priced too. Just don’t expect a light meal here—you’ll end up overeating. 😅

The salmon and avocado starter was good, chocolate mousse a nice finish. Fish main came out a bit dry though, could've used more sauce. Decent meal, nothing crazy. The room felt a little cold, but I'd still go back for that starter.

The staff was amazing and the food out of this world!

Stopped by for a glass and ended up staying longer than planned. Wine list is seriously impressive for Lugano, lots of options by the glass which you don't see often. Food was solid too, nothing fancy but well done. Service was a bit slow when it got busy, but the staff knew their wines and gave good suggestions. Fair prices for what you get.

The gluten-free pasta with veal ragu was solid, and they actually brought GF bread too. Portion felt a bit small for the price, but I’d still order it again.

The entrecote was cooked perfectly, really tender. Tiramisu was just okay, but the pizza made up for it.

The vegan burger was actually decent, not dry like most places. They had tiramisu too, which I didn't expect. Prices are what you'd pay anywhere in Switzerland, so no complaints there. Service was a bit slow but the food came out fresh. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

Stopped by for a quick bite. Brioche was solid, hit the spot. Service was fast and friendly, no complaints there. Place is clean and easy to find on the main road. Parking's a bit of a pain though. Fine if you're in a hurry and just need something decent.

This restaurant not only serves delicious food but also has a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a meal with friends or family.

The terrace view is stunning, honestly. Had the rabbit and lobster—both cooked really well. Pricey, but you're paying for the spot.
