The crab sashimi was so sweet and creamy! My friends and I couldn't stop talking about it. We ended up ordering a second plate to share. 😋 A bit pricey, but totally worth it for that flavor.

A local Japanese cafe with an English menu. The matcha latte was a bit too sweet for me, but I appreciate that they use real, high-quality matcha powder. You can taste the freshness. A nice, quiet spot to unwind.

Stopped in for the cheesecake and coffee. The lemon squash was a nice surprise — not too sweet, with a good lemony tang. I’d pair it with a lighter dessert next time, maybe their fruit tart. The delivery option in summer is a thoughtful touch.

Cute spot. Combo pizza was great, the crust just right. Large green salad with anchovy dressing, huge portion. Service quick.

The stone oven pizza is solid. Good char on the crust, cheese melted just right. Watching them make it outside was a nice touch.

Loved the seasonal galette here! So many veggies and really filling. The place is super cute inside, perfect for catching up with friends.

The lunch set is a great deal at 1,000 yen. I really appreciated the fresh, crisp salad that came with it. The greens tasted so vibrant. The counter seating was also very comfortable, which made for a relaxed solo lunch.

Good spot right by the bridge. Beef bowl hit the spot on a chilly day. Quick service, got my order fast. Just what I needed for a quick lunch break.

Yuba sashimi was the standout. Simple presentation, just a dab of wasabi and soy. Texture was clean and fresh. Good introduction to local cuisine for visitors.

The owner was super nice and explained all the craft beers to us. It was a chill place to hang out. But honestly, the beers were a bit pricey for the size of the pour. I expected a bit more for what we paid.

A cozy little place by the river. The drink list is impressive, had a nice local craft beer. Felt like a real find tucked away there.

Tried the mizu yokan here after a few other old shops. Mitsuyama's has a really rich flavor, and the balance is just right.

The Kenta gyoza were really nice, filled with veggies for a sweet-savory kick. The set's Sano ramen broth was light but still full of flavor.

The wood-fired pizza oven here is the star. My Margherita had that perfect, slightly chewy crust with a real depth of flavor in the dough. It just worked so well with the tangy tomato sauce.

The specially selected Kuroge Wagyu fillet steak was incredibly tender and delicious, making it a worthwhile experience despite the higher price point.

Been coming here for years. It’s always packed on weekends, so I book ahead. Came in after the lunch rush last week—nice and quiet. That’s the vibe I keep coming back for.

The lunch buffet is a solid deal for the price. Got there on a Tuesday without a booking and had to wait nearly 20 minutes. It was packed! Next time I'll definitely call ahead.

Been coming here for years. It's a local favorite. The natto shinoda is always perfectly crispy. But I've noticed the portion size has gotten a bit smaller lately, even though the price is the same.

The tonkatsu uses local Nikko Himitsu pork. The batter was crisp, and the frying oil had a light, slightly sweet note. It's a well-executed dish.

The soba was a bit thicker than I expected, but I actually liked that texture. The grated mushroom on the side had this really nice, earthy flavor.
