The tournedos were spot on - tender, juicy, that cream sauce with bacon just worked. Pork neck slices were solid too. Sat by the window watching the square, pretty nice vibe. Service kept it simple, no fuss. Maybe a touch pricey for what you get, but I left full and happy.

Came for the fish stew — that thing was massive. Tasty, rich, proper comfort food. Portion big enough for two honestly. Price fair for what you get. Service was alright, nothing special but no complaints. Just go hungry.

A beautiful restaurant with excellent food and service. Tip: try the duck Margret with orange sauce. The cheese mousse with red fruits as dessert

The food was delicious. We had cod w cream, sea bass and fried cod and everything was delicious. A bit expensive tho

Stopped by for lunch because it’s right on the square, facing the monastery. Pizza was solid, baked macaroni too. Prices fair for the spot. Service was a bit slow though, took a while to get the bill. Fine if you’re not in a rush.

The daily specials were limited but everything tasted properly homemade. That chocolate dessert was the highlight for me 🍫

The grilled tuna was the reason I stayed. Cooked just right, flaky but still juicy. House wine was decent too, nothing fancy but it worked. Place has that worn-in local feel, no tourist fuss. Service was warm without hovering. Only thing, it got a bit noisy when the crowd came in. But I'd take that over some sterile spot any day.

Right by the Fatima sanctuary, easy to find. Had the bacalhau, portion was huge and cooked properly. Staff friendly enough. Solid spot for a quick traditional meal.

The owner was playing traditional Portuguese music in the background, which honestly made the whole place feel way more authentic. Nice change from the touristy spots around. I just sat there, listened, and enjoyed the vibe. Didn't want to leave, really.

Tiny little place, nothing fancy, but the food tastes like actual home cooking. Menu changes with whatever’s fresh that day, which I love. Went with two friends and we just shared everything. Cozy but a bit cramped, honestly fine for a quick dinner. Would go back for sure. 😊

The terrace view of the castle is a nice touch. Burgers are solid, veggie one too. Just mind the pigeons if you sit outside. 🍔

The food was lovely, especially the meat loaf. Service was really friendly and attentive. It's a bit pricey, but you can tell the quality is there. Just be aware it gets noisy when it's full.

Walked in not knowing what to expect. Place looks like a small museum, owner’s travels everywhere. Had the chicken moamba — rich, kinda spicy, really good. Samosas were solid too. Felt like eating around the world in one sitting. Only thing, service took a bit. But I’d go back.

Stopped here before Almourol castle, got the fried cod. Huge plate, really tasty, but pricey for a daily special. House wine was a miss though.

The service at this Michelin-starred restaurant is exceptional, with knowledgeable staff who are attentive and friendly. They truly enhance the dining experience, making every guest feel valued.

The staff made it great. Our reservation wasn’t even registered because there was a mixup with communication by the owners and their staff. They didn’t have the fork bookings registered. However, the delightful staff gave my family and I a wonderful table and the food was as fantastic. Having never eaten snails, it was either a one-time thing or to try again. Without a doubt, we will be back! Thank you Tasquinha do Gavetas, especially the staff that saved the evening for us.

Best sushi i ate in Portugal. Nice and sweet Sushi bar.. Amazing creation. The Céviche was perfect. I loved the colors and flavor of that dish. Thank you for the amazing diner.

Food was solid and portions were generous, but it got pretty chaotic when we went. Still a fun spot to grab dinner with friends 😄

Temaki wasn’t the best I’ve had, but the sushi quality surprised me. Menu’s got plenty of options too. Place gets packed fast though, so try to hit it early or off-peak. Worth checking out if you’re in the area and don’t mind a bit of a wait.

The desserts honestly stole the show for me. Burgers were good, but that chocolate thing we got after... yeah. Warm, rich, not too sweet. I kept stealing bites even though I was full. Wish I’d saved more room for it.

The dinner buffet for €14.50. Food was decent, sushi combos had some weird ones like strawberry rolls. Portions are small though, kept having to get up for more plates.

Papa-Figos is a gem in Torres Novas, known for its traditional Portuguese cuisine. The staff is professional and fast, making it a great choice for both family gatherings and intimate dinners.

Been coming here for years and the dumplings never disappoint. Still my go-to spot for Chinese in the city. Quality's held up well.

The food is delicious. We like the place very much and have been there several times. The chef is amazing and very friendly! This time Laura brought us every dish, gave us very good advice with a very nice smile. Going back in the near future, that's for sure!

The bifana was solid — juicy pork, good bread. Pastel de nata was pretty close to Belém level, honestly. Staff were nice.

The daily plate was solid, tasted like something homemade. Pastries were good too, but honestly for the price I expected a bit more on the plate.
