This was a new experience for us. The staff was very ready to explain how one could either pick their fish and method of cooking or one could choose something for their ready menu. The food was delicious. An amuse bouche of fried anchovies was light and tasty. We chose some fried sardines as an appetizer. Our dishes were orecchiette with octopus and pasta with mussels, ( already out of their shells) Very good. The restaurant is very pleasant. I would categorize it as casual, white tablecloth. Would definitely return.

Cozy spot tucked away. The terrace is a nice private-feeling space. Had a relaxed dinner there. Good for unwinding after work.

The wine list is solid. The food, though, that's the thing. The pasta was cooked just right, the sauce had this deep, slow-cooked flavor. That's what I came for. Waited a while for it, but the dish itself was spot on.

Tried the tortelli with pistachio and tagliatelle. Both were divine. The tiramisu here was the best I've had on this trip, and the homemade ice cream cake was incredible. Food is definitely the highlight.

Sat outside under the pines. The pub tables were nice, very chill. I had the fish and chips. Portion was huge, honestly more than I could finish. Good for the price.

The place is nicely kept, and the owners are very welcoming. Felt comfortable, like visiting someone's home. The pasta was pretty good, though a bit simple for the price.

No cover charge, nice! The house red was surprisingly smooth, and the draft beer hit the spot with my pasta. Simple, no-fuss drinks that just worked with the food.

Been coming here for years. You can always count on the quality of the ingredients, just like the menu says.

The meat sushi was a fun surprise. Tried the wagyu and the duck, both were really tender. Not something you see every day.

Donatello's passion for pizza really shows. The smoked presentation was a fun touch, and chatting with him about the craft over a glass of wine made the evening.

Loved the terrace view for our girls' night! Cocktails were spot on, and the sushi was really fresh. Perfect spot to catch up by the sea.

Really poor, some of the food was obviously reheated Nd the pasta my partner ordered was overcooked. Would recommend just staying in Lecce as much better

The vegan menu here is a solid choice. I tried the local chickpea stew and it was hearty and flavorful. Nice to have so many plant-based options that actually feel authentic to the area.

Staff are nice and attentive. They remembered my usual order and checked on us a few times. Not overbearing, just good service. Makes coming back easy.

36th wedding anniversary. This is our go-to special occasion restaurant. Although not billed as a sushi restaurant, their sushi menu is extensive and among the best in the city.

The seafood pasta was delicious, and they had a lovely wine list that paired perfectly with it. Portions for the swordfish were a bit small, though.

This place has real character, nothing like the usual London spots. We had the Sunday roast and the gravy was spot on. The beef was cooked just right, not dry at all. It's a bit of a trek to get here, but the food makes it worthwhile.

Really good food with a special flair and twist from the chef. Service was excellent, very professional and warm. The location is perfect for a small borgo in Lecce. Highly recommend it. We will be returning!!!

This place is a hidden gem! The combination of delicious food and a beautiful outdoor dining area creates a lovely ambiance for any occasion.

Solid spot for a traditional Salento 'Puccia'. Got the horse meat version. It was good, but honestly, for the price, I'd probably go for one of the more loaded options next time. Felt a bit basic for what you pay.

The tuna tartare was a real highlight, super fresh. The menu is small, but everything feels intentional. I liked the clean, minimalist vibe of the space—very calming.

Solid spot for gluten-free diners. The homemade pasta was a good option, and they handled my allergy request without fuss.

Solid seafood spot. Plates are well prepared, ingredients are fresh. Service was efficient, got our order quickly. Good for a business lunch downtown. Prices are reasonable for the quality.

The food is targeted for fish lover. The fresh fish is cooked in the oven with simple olive oil and herbs. This is wonderful. Additionally, the view is speechless.

You would not expect a pizzaria in a strip mall to deliver this kind of quality. Not that it is impossible, but even most large houses do not take the trouble to source ingredients and provide caring service. Mauricio, as we learned, started his business on a shoestring 14 years ago. It has since blossomed post COVID. He expanded into the space next door. He sources the most exquisite cheeses from a young group of artisan cheesmakers from the North. It's a king of gorgonzola that is dreamy, get some with your appetizer plate is coppocola, uncooked creamy prosciutto, and a craft beer and you are set to order one of his delicious pizzas. What a great time it was to hear of his philosophy and business success. If you don't feel like going out they also deliver. Super high quality ingredients, hell even the pepper is sourced from Madagascar. Skip the overpriced fancy places in Lecce, dine like the locals , treat yourself to Pizza Carpe Diem

Great food and wine. The restaurant was quite busy at lunch on a Tuesday so it has its reputation. We enjoyed the cold cut meat and a great Nero Di Trioa with our Primi. We recommend this place!

One of my best meals in Julia. Don’t even hesitate to make a reservation here. The chef starts by walking around to greet the entire restaurant and tries to make a connection with every table. The menu can be a tasting if you’d like, but I opted for the à la carte choose your own adventure style. especially since I don’t like desserts, I thought this was a much better value around €20 per dish. Every dish was a stand out. I particularly loved the sea urchin and mussel caccio e pepe. The kitchen uses local and seasonal ingredients and has beautiful presentation. The service was always on point, I never felt neglected or othered because I was a tourist. There was a good mix of Italians and English speaking tables. You do have to budget about three hours for the entire meal, as there’s plenty of time in between courses to digest. But, overall, if you’re looking for a really great meal to understand how food from this region can be upscaled and elevated, you must try eating at Duo. Grazie!

Service was very good, food excellent. Toilet facilities needs improvements, urgently. Gents toilet had the pipe broken and the floor gets flooded each time you flush it.

The fish was so fresh, cooked just right. We managed without an English menu, the staff helped point things out. A real highlight from our trip.

The troccoli alle vongole was the star. The pasta had a great texture, and the clams were fresh and briny. Just the right amount of garlic and white wine in the sauce. A solid dish.
