Crab sandwich was the highlight. They definitely don't skimp on the filling, it's packed with fresh crab. Could have done with a bit more dressing for my taste, but you really get what you pay for here. Good portion for the price.

The staff are so friendly and attentive, it made the whole meal very pleasant.

Been coming here for years. The coffee's always spot on, strong and smooth. Food's decent, nothing fancy but hits the spot. Service is quick, they know the regulars. Just a solid local place.

Beef massaman curry was spot on. Properly spicy, rich flavour. Everyone else seemed happy with their plates too. Solid meal.

Stopped in for a quick bite. The scallop starter was spot on, and the fillet steak was cooked just right. My wife really liked her lamb rack too.

The pancakes they offered at lunch were the highlight. Fluffy, just the right amount of sweetness, and came with a really good berry compote. A nice surprise that made the meal.

Been here a few times for their cream tea. Scones are spot on, really good quality. Could do with a bit more jam and clotted cream though, always feels a bit stingy. Decent option for the area.

Always a nice vibe here. Mercy and Tess are so friendly, they remember our usual order and always check if we need anything. Makes you feel like a regular even if you're not.

First time here and they were so lovely with my dog. Gave him a water bowl and a little treat. Makes a big difference when you're out with your furry friend.

Been coming here for years and the light lunch seafood platter is always spot on. Fresh, generous portion, never disappoints. That's why I keep coming back.

Tried a bunch of their small plates. The grilled octopus was spot on, really tender. The wine list had some interesting local picks, went well with the food. A bit on the pricey side for the portion sizes, but enjoyed it.

The cocktails are the real draw here. Tried the mezcal-based one, and the balance was spot on. Nice selection, too. Could do with a few more non-alcoholic options, but overall a solid choice for a drink.

Came for the food, stayed for the food. Ended up eating here three days straight. The grilled lamb chops were the standout – perfectly charred on the outside, still juicy inside. Just the right amount of rosemary and garlic. That’s what kept me coming back.

Decent veggie options, which is a plus. The decor's quirky, service was friendly. Food came out fast and hot, no complaints there.

A bit pricey, but you're paying for the spot. Right on the beach, can't beat the view. Food's solid, service was spot on. Good for a proper meal out.

Came here with a few friends for a casual catch-up. The harbour view really is something, especially when the tide rolls in. We ended up staying way longer than planned just chatting and watching the water. The vibe is so relaxed, perfect for a chilled group hang.

Been coming here for years, and it's still my go-to. The crispy fried chicken is always spot on, never greasy. Even the 15-minute drive doesn't put me off.

Popped in for lunch. The pan-fried cod was really fresh, flaky texture was spot on. Nice spot by the water too, felt pretty chilled.

Decent little kiosk for a quick stop. The cakes and ice cream were good. Had a coffee and a slice of carrot cake while waiting for my train. Service was prompt, which was appreciated. Prices are reasonable for the location.

The gluten-free options are clearly marked, and the staff really know their stuff about coeliac needs. Great for a worry-free meal by the sea.

Loved the outdoor seating area here. Perfect spot for people-watching on a sunny afternoon. The tables are well-spaced and the whole vibe is just really relaxed.

The bento box lunch is such a good deal. You get a little bit of everything, all of it tasty. It was a really nice, filling meal.

First time here and I'm sold. The grilled octopus was spot on, and the staff knew their wine list. Suggested a crisp white that cut right through the richness. Atmosphere was relaxed, a bit dim for my liking, but that's a minor thing.

The biryanis were spot on, really aromatic. I had the lamb one, and a glass of their house red actually worked surprisingly well with the spices. The place has a nice, cosy feel to it.

The gluten-free menu was a nice surprise. You can really taste the quality in the ingredients. My pasta dish felt so fresh and light.

The 'Friends with Benedicts' was a fun choice. I liked the quirky menu names. The salmon was tasty too. The place has a nice, relaxed feel, good for just grabbing a bite.

Been here a few times now, always get the four-course with wine pairing. That crab red Thai curry is the reason I keep coming back – it's just spot on every single time. The lime sorbet's a bit punchy for it, but hey, the curry's the main event. Lovely, calm spot.

The fish and chips here are spot on. The batter is light and crisp, the chips are proper thick-cut and fluffy inside. A solid portion too. Exactly what you want after a walk.
