The pad thai was spot on, just the right balance of sweet and tangy. But honestly, that view over the bay stole the show for me. Sat there for ages just watching the boats.

The space is cosy and intimate, but not overly hushed. I liked how the lighting was just right – not too dim, not too bright. The food looked lovely on the plate, too.

Coffee's top notch, honestly some of the best I've had on the island. Smooth and rich, no bitterness at all. Just had a flat white and it was spot on. Price is a bit steep though.

Lovely spot for a quick lunch by the beach. The grilled fish was super fresh and flaky, just a squeeze of lemon and it was perfect. Staff were really nice too.

Managed to get a table without a booking on a busy Friday. Staff were friendly and efficient, found us a spot quickly. Service was responsive throughout the meal.

Lovely spot right on the seafront. Grabbed a late lunch and a glass of Pinot Gris after a long walk. The wine list is decent, and that crisp white was just right with the sea breeze. Menu's pretty varied, which is nice. A solid place to rest up.

Great Guinness here. Properly poured, right temperature. Bar staff know their stuff, friendly too. Just what you want in a central pub.

Looks basic from the outside, but the food is genuinely good. Had the pad thai and green curry – both were flavourful and tasted authentic. The service was decent, though a little slow when they got busy. A solid choice for a casual meal.

The small plates here are lovely. I really appreciate the focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The staff were helpful when I asked about the wine pairings for the lighter dishes. A nice spot to unwind.

Small spot, always busy. Got lucky with a walk-in table. Food came out quick, perfect for a fast lunch. The grilled chicken was solid. Good for a quick bite when you're in a rush.

The breakfast selection is pretty good. I had the full English, it was decent. The sausages were particularly nice. Coffee could have been a bit hotter though.

The terrace view of the castle is just stunning. It's the kind of spot where you don't mind lingering over your coffee a little longer than planned. The setting really is the main event here.

The steak was cooked exactly as requested and beautifully tender. The mid-week discount for loyalty card holders made it great value.

A nice place that welcomes dogs, which is a big plus for me. They have a good drinks list, some decent wines and local ales. The seats were quite comfortable, which made it easy to relax and stay a while.

The sharing menu had a good variety, and everything was cooked just right. Staff were really helpful with our big group.

Flat white was spot on, really smooth. Tried their seasonal special too, a lavender honey latte. Interesting flavour, not too sweet. A solid coffee stop.

Special fried rice was the move. Got that proper wok hei smokiness, which I love. Loads of plump shrimp and egg in there too. Hit the spot.

Rosie always remembers my name, which is a lovely touch. The staff are genuinely friendly and make you feel so welcome. It's a comfortable, relaxed spot. The atmosphere is just right for a quiet meal.

Been coming here for years. The food's always consistent, even on a packed Friday night. That's what keeps me coming back.

The half lobster italiano was incredible, and the turbot was buttery and rich. The team works hard to provide excellent seafood. We'll definitely return.
