Blanka was so lovely. She was friendly and pleasant, and really made the meal enjoyable. Great service from her.

The pasta here is genuinely impressive. I had the mushroom tagliatelle and the ingredients tasted so fresh. The pasta itself had a lovely texture. It’s some of the best I’ve had, honestly.

The roast duck with pancakes is the star here. It's really good, and the service was friendly and attentive, which made for a relaxed evening. The tables are a bit close together, but it didn't spoil the meal.

Perfect for meeting a friend before we both caught our train. Grabbed a flat white and a bag of their beans to take home. The roastery right there is cool to see. A bit pricey for a coffee, but the spot couldn't be more convenient.

Food was very tasty and presented very well. Staff were polite, very welcoming, and attentive. Restaurant was clean. I will definitely be going back.

Been coming here for years, and the pizza cone is still my go-to. Always hits the spot on a sunny day when I grab a seat outside. The consistency is what keeps me coming back.

Great cask ales, especially Scottish ones. Nine handpumps, always something new. Perfect for a quick pint.

Been coming here for years, and that steak mince baked potato is the reason. It's exactly the same every time – hearty, filling, just right for a chilly day. A proper, reliable comfort dish.

Been coming here for years, and the chicken curry is always spot on. That's why we keep ordering. The fried rice is decent too, but honestly, I'm just here for that curry. It's the one thing I know won't let me down.

The pizzas are reliably solid, but the real win for me was the kebab. Asked for pitta instead of naan and they happily obliged. Paired it with a decent house red that cut through the richness nicely. A simple thing, but getting your order right makes a difference.

The sweet and sour chicken balls were spot on. Crispy outside, not oily, and the sauce was just the right kind of sticky. The fried rice was nice and tender too. A solid, comforting plate.

Decent lunch spot with good coffee. Prices are fair, and they serve beer and wine too.

Service was really good, attentive without being overbearing. The quarter duck with glutinous rice was lovely, very flavourful. The Shanghai dumplings were fine, a bit standard maybe. A solid dinner overall.

The smashed cucumber at the salad bar was the highlight for me. So fresh and crunchy, with a really nice garlicky kick. I ended up going back for seconds. The menu's huge, but I just kept circling back to that salad station.

Been coming here for years. The fish is always top-notch, you can tell they really know what they're doing with it. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.

Always a solid choice. The kitchen is consistent, and service is quick and efficient.

The full breakfast is the thing. The eggs are cooked just right, the bacon is crisp, and the black pudding has a good flavour. The beans are a bit too sweet for my taste, but it's a solid plate of food.

The steak in the Friday deal was so tender and fresh. Really appreciate the quality of ingredients for the price.

The saffron latte here is my new favourite. It’s got this lovely subtle spice and isn’t too sweet at all. I keep thinking about it! The honey oat was also really nice, but that saffron one is special.

This restaurant is a hidden gem with a beautiful ambiance. The food is delicious, and the service is top-notch, making it a must-visit.

Restaurant in Kimpton BLYTHSWOOD SQUARE HOTEL & SPA by IHG

A bit pricier than other spots, but the quality of the ingredients really shows. You can taste the difference in the fresh seafood pasta.

Had a lovely breakfast with great service from Laura. The food was fresh and delicious, making it a perfect start to the day.

Booked ahead for a Friday night, which was wise as it was quite busy. The central location is very convenient. Found the overall atmosphere to be quite cosy and welcoming, which made for a relaxed evening.

The complimentary starter was a lovely touch! The Sicilian tasting menu is a steal at £29, and everything tasted so fresh.

Solid spot for a quick coffee break. The iced banana bread matcha is a winner, really hits the spot. Espresso menu changes often, which is cool. Staff know their stuff and are quick. Good for a fast caffeine fix.

Stumbled upon this place near the Cathedral. The pistachio latte was a proper vibrant green, topped with a really thick, creamy foam. Carrot cake was spot on – stayed lovely and moist. Just a nice, simple stop.

The chicken bao was delicious, and the lunch discount is a nice touch. It's a cozy little spot, perfect for a quick bite.
