Decent variety on the menu, including for vegetarians. The fish and chips were pretty good, crispy batter and decent portion. Tacos were fine too. A solid choice for a casual meal.

Booked for a birthday. The venison was good, but I really noticed the freshness of the ingredients in the seasonal menu. Everything tasted so vibrant. The peach and thyme sponge was a lovely finish.

Stumbled upon this spot and it’s a regular now. Their beer list is seriously good - tried a local pale ale I hadn’t seen anywhere else. The £2 pool table is a nice touch too.

Popped in for a drink. Really liked the vibe inside—warm and cosy. Staff were friendly, and they let dogs in, which is nice. Didn’t try the food, but the menu looked decent.

Tried the pulled duck toastie and the vegan stack. The duck one had this sweet-spicy sauce that really worked. The vegan stack was hearty, not just a pile of veggies. Nice spot.

The Anchor Line boasts a charming, old-world atmosphere, serving delicious food and excellent cocktails—ideal for a relaxing visit.

Decent selection of local drafts here. Grabbed a pint after work, it was a bit pricier than I expected, but the beer itself was really nice. Good spot for a drink.

Been coming here for years. The lamb shank is still the reason. Braised so it falls right off the bone, and that gravy is rich without being heavy. It's the one thing I always order.

Garlic mushrooms are excellent. Steak pie is generous with the filling. Good value.

Been coming here for years with my pup. They always remember to bring him a water bowl and a little treat without me having to ask. It’s that kind of consistent, small gesture that keeps us coming back. Makes the whole outing easy.

Stumbled upon this place on my trip. Staff were super friendly. They even gave my kids some extra treats. Portions are huge, perfect when you're really hungry after a long day.

Found this little spot tucked away. The bartenders are the real stars - they made us a surprise shot that was so fun and creative. Just a really nice touch to the evening.

Popped in before a gig. The place was buzzing for a Monday night! Portions are huge, my burger was stacked. Cocktails were on a weekday deal too, which was a nice surprise on the bill.

The live band on Saturday night was a nice surprise. They played some pop covers, not too loud, which made the evening feel more lively. It's a good option if you want some background music without it being overwhelming.

Popped in for lunch, fish and chips. Portion was massive, honestly could've shared it. Beer and cider were decent, staff had a good suggestion there. Chips were proper crispy, fish was nice and flaky. Solid feed for the price.

Loved the truffle fries and the Ladybug cocktail here. The vibe on Ashton Lane is great. But honestly, for the portion size you get, the prices are a bit steep. It's a fun spot, just wish you got a bit more for your money.

Been coming here for years, and the lamb curry is always spot on. Portions are huge, never disappoints.

Irene's been my go-to bartender for ages. She remembers what I like, even if I'm just in the mood for something different. That kind of attention keeps me coming back. Her cocktail suggestions are always spot-on.

Lots of big screens for the game, which was great. The tables were wiped down quickly after people left, so it never felt messy. Good beer selection too.

Popped in for a work thing. The space is really nice. Alicia was a star, sorted everything for our table with a smile. Drinks were solid, food was good. No complaints from me.

Came here for my birthday dinner. The staff were so lovely, really made it feel special. They even brought out a little dessert with a candle on it. The vibe was just right for a celebration.

Lovely, spacious pub with a good selection of beers. The booths are really comfortable, which makes a big difference for a relaxed drink. I appreciated that the staff were friendly without being overbearing. A pleasant spot to unwind.

The roast chicken was so juicy! We went for a Sunday roast with friends, and the cosy, homey vibe was perfect for a long catch-up. The background music was just right, not too loud. A really nice spot for a relaxed group meal.

Breakfast was simple but the coffee was honestly one of the best I've had. The staff were so kind and attentive, which really made our morning catch-up feel relaxed. Great spot for a chat with friends over a proper cuppa.

A lovely spot in the centre of town. The place is spotless, and the team are all so friendly. We had a few of the bar snacks – the crispy squid was a real treat, and the prices felt fair for what you get. A nice place to unwind.

Friendly staff, quick service. The fish and chips were solid, not greasy. Good spot for a cold beer after work. Prices are reasonable for the area.

Been coming here for years. The beer garden is huge, perfect for a sunny afternoon. Ordered the fish and chips on the app, came out hot and crispy. Just a solid local spot.

We came up to Glasgow for the day and my husband booked the meal for us online It was our first time in Browns and we really enjoyed it, lovely staff, beautiful food and fabulous surroundings We will be definitely come back Thankyou

Upstairs is much quieter, a nice escape from the buzz. The rice bowl was a solid choice, not your usual pub grub. Good flavours and a decent portion.

The portions are generous, and I appreciate the menu's variety. They have options for gluten-free and dairy-free diets, which is helpful. The ingredients in my salad tasted fresh, though the dressing was a bit heavy for my taste. Good value overall.
