The coffee is so smooth, really one of the best in town. I appreciate that they source their beans locally. The staff are lovely, always happy to chat. A nice spot for a quiet morning.

Been coming here for years, and their lunch special is still the best deal around. Always leave stuffed, and the quality's never dropped.

Lovely spot in Largs, always buzzing. The coffee is so good here, I had two flat whites. The avocado toast was spot on, just the right amount of everything. Found my new regular.

Grabbed a smoked salmon sandwich and veg soup for the West Highland Way. The sandwich was generously filled, and the soup portion was huge. For the price, it kept me going for hours. Perfect for a hike.

Nice spot to unwind after the trail. The atmosphere is relaxed, just right for a pint. I had a local ale with my burger – the pairing worked well. A solid choice for a casual drink and a bite.

Came with a group of 12 for a work dinner. Staff handled the large booking smoothly, no fuss. The chicken Milanese was good, crispy outside and tender. Service was efficient, which is what you need with a big table.

Lovely spot for lunch with friends. The steak pie was really good, and you can't beat that harbour view.

Been coming here for years, always get the same breakfast. Simple, good, never lets you down. Just a solid local spot.

Been coming here for lunch for years. The two-course set is what keeps me coming back. Portions are still generous, prices haven't gone crazy. It's just a solid, reliable spot.

Been coming here for years, and the meal deal for two is still a solid choice. Always get the fries, but I wish they’d go a bit lighter on the seasoning—it’s a touch overpowering for me. Still, a reliable spot for a decent meal without breaking the bank.

Popped in before a gig at the venue next door. Super handy spot for that. The vibe inside was just right—not too loud, comfy booths, and the lighting was soft. Made for a really relaxed start to the night.

Great spot for a pre-show bite near the Hydro. The Asian Hot Dog was a fun surprise, really hit the spot.

The lamb shank was the standout. Slow-cooked for hours, the meat just fell apart. Rich, deep flavour from the sauce, not just salty. The mash underneath soaked it all up perfectly. That's a proper main course.

The lentil soup they bring out with the warm bread is such a nice way to start. It's a small thing, but it makes the whole place feel welcoming and cosy.

The chargrilled beef was really nice and tender, served with sticky rice. But what I appreciated most was how comfortable the seating was - proper chairs with backs, not those tiny stools. The staff were very pleasant and didn't rush us at all.

Came for a quiet dinner. The staff were really thoughtful, noticed it was a little occasion and wrote a sweet message on our dessert plate. Made the evening feel extra nice. The tiramisu itself was lovely, not too sweet. Just a really pleasant, fuss-free experience.

Had breakfast here before the museum. The coffee was really good, strong and hot. My eggs were cooked just right. It got the morning off to a solid start.

The vibe here is just right. Elegant but not stuffy. Those vegetarian small plates were lush, and the sourdough bread? Honestly to die for. A lovely spot for a relaxed evening.

This restaurant is a hidden gem with a beautiful ambiance. The food is delicious, and the service is top-notch, making it a must-visit.

Restaurant in Kimpton BLYTHSWOOD SQUARE HOTEL & SPA by IHG

A bit pricier than other spots, but the quality of the ingredients really shows. You can taste the difference in the fresh seafood pasta.

Booked ahead for a Friday night, which was wise as it was quite busy. The central location is very convenient. Found the overall atmosphere to be quite cosy and welcoming, which made for a relaxed evening.

Solid spot for a quick coffee break. The iced banana bread matcha is a winner, really hits the spot. Espresso menu changes often, which is cool. Staff know their stuff and are quick. Good for a fast caffeine fix.

The chicken bao was delicious, and the lunch discount is a nice touch. It's a cozy little spot, perfect for a quick bite.

The lunch special is great value. The small plates were so fresh, you could really taste the quality of the ingredients.

Grabbed a quick lunch here on a sunny day. The outdoor table was a nice spot. Their chicken katsu curry takeaway box really hit the spot – the sauce was rich and the chicken was super crispy. Just the right amount for a solo meal.

Popped in on a Wednesday for the pizza and drink deal. The pizza was solid, crust had a nice chew. Good for a casual bite without breaking the bank.

Been coming here for years. The hot white chocolate is the real deal, rich and not too sweet. Those extra marshmallows are a nice touch. It's my go-to spot on a cold afternoon.

Best Cantonese in Glasgow. The char siu was spot-on, tender with that perfect sweet glaze. Everything else tasted just right too. Authentic flavours.
