Took a big group here for afternoon tea. The sausage rolls were so good - you could tell they were homemade. Everything was fresh and they kept the tea coming. A bit of a wait for the scones, but worth it.

Cozy little neighbourhood place. We had the lasagne, which was properly cooked - you could tell the pasta sheets were homemade. Good portion for the price. A solid, comforting meal.

Good selection of bagels and wraps. The smoothies are homemade, which is a nice touch. I liked that the seating was comfortable and spaced out, made for a relaxed lunch.

Popped in for lunch after arriving at Central Station. The staff were so friendly and efficient, which made the whole experience really smooth. I had the chicken sandwich, and it was just what I needed. A very comfortable and easy stop.

Table service is a nice touch for the price. Makes it feel a bit more special than the usual cafe.

Lovely spot for a lazy Sunday catch-up. We grabbed a table in the garden and it was just perfect with the sun out. The menu had loads of interesting options, which made choosing tricky in the best way!

It's always packed, but they managed to get our order in quickly. The staff were genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience feel very relaxed.

A nice spot for a morning coffee. The staff are friendly and offered a free scone with my order, which was a pleasant surprise. The scone itself was decent, though a little on the dry side.

Been coming here for years, and the generous portions are the main reason. Always leaves me with lunch for the next day. It's just consistently good value.

The stew was the star, rich and deeply flavoured. The garlic mash underneath had just the right amount of garlic, not overpowering. It all came together really well. The coffee afterwards was a good, strong cup, which was exactly what I wanted.

Been coming here for years, it's a solid local spot. The staff always check in on you, not just once but a few times during the meal. Makes you feel looked after. Food's always reliable, nothing fancy but gets the job done.

The vegan and gluten-free options are a nice touch, especially for breakfast. Menu's got a bit of everything without breaking the bank. My veggie scramble was solid, though the GF toast was a bit dry.

Stopped by for a quick tea. The Earl Grey in a china mug was lovely. Plenty of seating inside and out, which is always a plus.

A cosy little place just a short walk from Central station. Perfect for a quick bite. I tried their haggis bonbons - crispy on the outside, really flavourful inside. Just what I needed on a drizzly afternoon.

The mocha here is spot on. Rich, not too sweet, with a proper chocolate hit. They remembered I liked it a bit less sweet the second time I came in. That's the kind of detail that keeps me coming back for the coffee alone.

Been coming here for ages. The menu's small, but they really know what they're doing with those few dishes.

My go-to in Shawlands. The food's always spot on, and their coffee pairs perfectly with the hearty breakfast.

The staff presented our own birthday cake beautifully. A nice touch, and their wine list had some interesting pairings to go with it.

Been coming here for years, and as a veggie, I've always found something decent to eat. The Indian section's good, but honestly, I keep hoping they'll add a proper dal or paneer curry one of these days. Would make it a solid go-to for me.

Been here a few times. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially if you're not sure what to order. They don't rush you. Makes for a relaxed meal.

Quick lunch spot. Got the chicken wrap in under 5 minutes. Friendly staff, easy to grab and go. Perfect for a busy day.

Good spot for a quick coffee near the station. Staff are friendly and efficient, which is exactly what you need when you're on a tight schedule. The coffee itself was solid, nothing fancy, but it did the job. Convenient location makes it a reliable option.

Been coming here for years, and their Dirty Chai is the one thing that keeps me coming back. It's got the perfect balance of spice and coffee, never too sweet. So many cafes mess it up, but theirs is consistently spot-on. The pulled pork roll was just okay last time, but honestly, I'm here for that chai.

Just dropped in for lunch. The grilled fish was spot on, really fresh. Lobster too. They said it's all from the west coast. A bit pricey, but you can taste it.

The kebab sauce was decent, but I usually go for their chicken or pizza - just find them more reliable.

The roast duck with pancakes is the star here. It's really good, and the service was friendly and attentive, which made for a relaxed evening. The tables are a bit close together, but it didn't spoil the meal.

Perfect for meeting a friend before we both caught our train. Grabbed a flat white and a bag of their beans to take home. The roastery right there is cool to see. A bit pricey for a coffee, but the spot couldn't be more convenient.

Food was very tasty and presented very well. Staff were polite, very welcoming, and attentive. Restaurant was clean. I will definitely be going back.
