Nice spot, feels cozy. Prices are what you'd expect around here - paid 35€ for two sunbeds and an umbrella. The only thing is, there's a boat dock right in front of the beach area.

Wonderful local meal with stunning sunset on the sea! Everything I had hoped for and much much more!!!

Came for a casual drink and ended up staying for their small plates. The charcuterie board was simple but the meats were sliced perfectly thin. I’ll be back just for that.

The pistachio-crusted tuna was fantastic. What really stood out was their wine list – found a crisp local white that paired beautifully with the fish. Staff was friendly, made the whole evening. A bit on the pricier side, but worth it for that combo.

Service was quick and friendly, which is what I needed for a fast lunch. Clams were tasty, but the calamari and carbonara were just okay. Got me in and out in under 30 minutes.

Been here a few times. Their cocktails are solid, and they always have some local wines on the menu. Good match for the food.

The pasta was really good, and the staff were so nice. They spoke English easily, which made ordering simple. The service was spot on. Just a heads up, the covered patio gets quite warm on a summer day.

The place was very nice. The food was yummy! The bathroom, unlike many Italian restaurants, was very well maintained and supplied with tissue, etc., which was a welcome surprise. The waitress was not particularly interested in being pleasant, but she was efficient. This is the only negative I have of the place. Give it a try.

Stopped by on a whim. Honestly, the pasta was way better than the pricier spots down the street. Good, simple food that doesn't break the bank.

End of the season here, few people in the restaurant but excellent service and good food. The cheese sampler plate is superb

The seafood is always fresh, and the pizza is a reliable staple. What really makes it for me is the wine list. They have a nice selection of local whites that pair perfectly with the grilled octopus. A bit pricey, but you're paying for the pairing knowledge.

Been coming here for years, the steak's always on point. Tender, juicy, even the meat near the bone is good. They know how to cook it right.

The salame piccante sandwich was so good! Perfect for a quick lunch with friends. We grabbed a couple and ate outside. The bread was fresh and the spicy salame had a nice kick. Could've used a bit more nduja spread though.

Had to wait a bit because it's so popular, but the food totally lived up to the hype. Once we ordered, our dishes came out super fast, which was nice.

The stone wall decor is cool, but honestly, the portions are a bit small for the price. We shared a pasta and a main, left feeling like we could have eaten more. Nice vibe for an evening out, though.

We were thrilled with the overall experience of Donna Nela. The waiter helped us pick a great bottle of wine (we even brought one to take home!). The food was lush and great value. Lovely pasta, meats and cheeses.

The amberjack main course was the standout. Perfectly seared, the skin was crispy and the flesh stayed moist. Served with a light citrus sauce that cut through the richness. Portions were generous, no skimping on the fish.

Nice spot by the marina. The grilled octopus was cooked just right, not rubbery at all. Good service too.

I came for a quiet dinner. The atmosphere was just right, not too loud. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients in my salad tasted. The greens were crisp, and the tomatoes were ripe. It felt like a thoughtful, healthy meal.

Sea bass was lovely. Pasta with swordfish and mussels fresh. Quick lunch, in and out in 40 mins. Staff speak English, helpful. Prices fair.

Amazing location and of course food, beautiful view with a very nice staff. I definitely recommend this amazing place to anyone visiting Palmi!

Recommend. I had a very enjoyable lunch at Casa Vela. Varied menu to suit all tastes and the quality of the food and wine was excellent. Great location and ambience. Staff were friendly and efficient.
