A cozy little spot with a real Showa-era feel. Came for a quiet lunch and loved how fresh the vegetables in my set meal tasted. The daikon was crisp and the greens had a nice color. The place gets quite busy though, so there was a short wait.

The individual grills are perfect for me. I could focus on my own meal, choosing the freshest vegetables and lean meats. The ingredients felt very clean and high quality. A nice, simple way to enjoy a healthy dinner.

The Oppai-yaki was a perfect starter for sharing! Loved how the sweet onions balanced the tender oysters. 🍶

Micchan's sake recommendation was spot on.

The Chiya-Gyu shabu shabu set was fantastic. The staff even helped prepare the porridge, which paired so well with the sake we chose. A nice handwritten note too.

The freshly ground sesame sauce is the star. It’s nutty and warm, perfect for the tonkatsu. The Sangen pork was tender, but honestly, I just kept dipping.

Jay runs a solid spot. Burgers are consistently good, cooked right. The real draw is the vibe - staff are friendly, regulars are interesting. A reliable option for a straightforward meal.

Managed to snag a tatami room without a reservation! The space is so calm and quiet, really lets you unwind.

The pork miso soup here is really good. It's a free refill, which is nice. The flavor is deep and rich, maybe they use a bit of sake in the broth. The rice is firm and has a nice texture, too.

Been coming here for years, and their pasta with tomato sauce is always the same. Loaded with fresh veggies, just how I like it. The garlic can be a bit much sometimes, but that's part of the charm. It's my go-to comfort order.

The restaurant is a bit pricey, but the quality of the food and the beautiful view of Okayama make it worth every yen. It's a perfect spot for special occasions.

My Fruit Frappuccino was a nice surprise, haven't seen it at many other stores. Good for picking up a stamp. The drink itself was refreshing, though the fruit bits could've been a bit chunkier.

Great for a quick bite. The mini salt rolls and melon bread are my go-to. Crispy outside, fluffy inside. The variety is good, you can try a few different ones without getting too full. Fast service too.

The 2700 yen lunch course was a solid choice. They asked about allergies and main preference first. The pace of the dishes was just right, not rushed at all. The main was a grilled fish, skin crispy and the flesh still moist. That's the kind of simple execution I look for.

AVPN certified. Dough, sauce, cheese, all spot-on. Consistent quality every time. That's it.

A really cozy spot, the staff was so nice even when my Japanese was a bit rough. They took the time to explain the grilled chicken skewers, which were perfect. Just a nice, lively place for a casual dinner.

I had the chef's recommended course, and the lobster dish was a standout! The service was friendly and made the evening even more special.

The gyoza filling was really moist and fresh, you could tell the ingredients were good quality. The garlic was just a hint, not overpowering at all. The skin had a nice crisp to it, which I liked. A solid, simple dish.

Menu's halal labeling is clear, which is helpful. Asked about a couple ingredients and the staff knew their stuff. Made ordering easy.

Friendly staff, they helped us pick a dish. Made the evening nice.

The owner clearly loves his craft beer. He gave us a few good recommendations, both for the beer and what to do nearby. Knowledgeable and friendly. The space itself is a bit small, but it's fine for a quick drink.

Took my wife here for our anniversary. The place has a warm, luxurious feel but didn't feel stuffy at all. Just right for a quiet date night. The wine pairing was a nice touch.

The staff was so sweet even though my Japanese is terrible 😅 They kept checking on us and refilling our waters, made our girls' night feel really relaxed.

A classic for a reason. Sat at the counter again last night. The sashimi was pristine. Their sake list is thoughtful, found a nice Junmai Ginjo that paired beautifully with the fatty tuna. Parking's easy, which is a plus.
