A takeout spot near the prefectural office. Get there early if you want the steamed buns, they sell out fast.

Came in solo for a quick lunch. Nice they do half portions. Got the mantis shrimp and fried conger eel. Shrimp texture was spot on, loved the vinegar kick. Eel was crispy. Got my food fast, which is what I needed. Solid quick bite.

The owner works so quietly and efficiently, it’s almost meditative. Just you and a perfect bowl of ramen. The broth was rich, and the chashu melted. That calm focus on the food is everything.

The spicy mazesoba was just right. I liked the garlic and the soft egg. The noodles had a good texture, held the flavor well. It's a solid, reliable bowl. Nothing fancy, but it hits the spot every time.

The morning set is a steal at under 500 yen. I really liked the half slice of complimentary toast they brought out. The cafe itself has a nice, quiet vibe with big windows. Perfect for just sitting and reading for a bit.

Loved the Showa-era vibe here. The little dishes were all so carefully made. The rice was spot on, a real treat. Paired it with a local sake that worked beautifully with the meal. A very cozy spot for a quiet dinner.

I really appreciate the texture here. The crust is thin and white, with some crispy spots from the high heat, but it still has a nice chew. It's not like a regular pancake-style taiyaki at all. Feels closer to a traditional wagashi, which I prefer for a lighter treat.

Sashimi's fresh, and the live shrimp on the platter was a unique touch. The conger eel tempura is thick and crispy.

Been coming here for years, always on weekdays. They never rush you, even when it's almost closing time. That's why I keep coming back.
