Stumbled upon this place looking for halal options. The rice platter was solid, came with a few different curries. Really liked the rasam soup. Friendly staff.

The private rooms are a nice touch, stayed for a chat and a digestif after the 5000 yen course. Service was quick, though the wine pairing felt a bit safe.

The japchae was really good, tasted just like I remember from Korea. What I liked most was the space though, the tables weren't crammed together. Could actually have a conversation without leaning in.

The soy sauce ramen was a nice surprise! The broth had this light, modern seafood taste to it. Perfect for a chill catch-up with friends.

Good counter seating for solo visits. The all-you-can-drink deal is solid value.

Spacious place, even when packed. Upstairs has tatami rooms for groups. Good for a quick lunch, didn't feel rushed. Food came out fast.

Lines are always long here, but I went just before opening and got seated right away. The place has this really nice, relaxed vibe with lots of natural light. It just feels comfortable to sit and eat, you know?

I really appreciate the partitioned tables here. It gives a semi-private feel, which is nice for a relaxed meal. They're also very family-friendly and have high chairs for kids. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable.

A cozy little spot with a real Showa-era feel. Came for a quiet lunch and loved how fresh the vegetables in my set meal tasted. The daikon was crisp and the greens had a nice color. The place gets quite busy though, so there was a short wait.

Micchan's sake recommendation was spot on.

Been here a few times after work. The ramen comes out fast, which is nice when you're tired. Broth is solid, noodles have a good bite. Gets busy but never feels rushed.

The three-curry platter is such a fun idea! Loved trying the chicken, dal, and fish all at once. Each one had its own little twist. The spiced egg on top was a nice surprise. Really glad I ordered this.

The individual grills are perfect for me. I could focus on my own meal, choosing the freshest vegetables and lean meats. The ingredients felt very clean and high quality. A nice, simple way to enjoy a healthy dinner.

The Oppai-yaki was a perfect starter for sharing! Loved how the sweet onions balanced the tender oysters. 🍶

The Chiya-Gyu shabu shabu set was fantastic. The staff even helped prepare the porridge, which paired so well with the sake we chose. A nice handwritten note too.

The staff meal bowl is a great deal for takeout. So much rice, and the salad on top was really fresh. It kept me full all afternoon.

The chicken soba was good, mild and comforting. I got the half portion, which was just right. Tried the keihan too—it’s not the traditional Amami style, but dipping it in the soba broth worked nicely. A solid, simple lunch.

Ordered the large beef bowl via the tablet. Convenient. A bit pricey at 740 yen, but the mild flavor was nice—didn't overpower the glass of chilled sake I had with it. 👍

The chicken katsu curry was the main thing. The curry sauce had a good depth, not too sweet, and the pork cutlet was crispy even after sitting for a bit. That’s what I remember.

The kakioko with extra oysters was a solid choice. The portion is generous for the price, and their house sake paired really well with the briny flavor.

Featured in the Michelin Guide, and you can taste it. The soup, the noodles, the toppings—everything just feels right. Thoughtful. Balanced. A quiet kind of precision.

Been coming here for years, and their pasta with tomato sauce is always the same. Loaded with fresh veggies, just how I like it. The garlic can be a bit much sometimes, but that's part of the charm. It's my go-to comfort order.

AVPN certified. Dough, sauce, cheese, all spot-on. Consistent quality every time. That's it.

A really cozy spot, the staff was so nice even when my Japanese was a bit rough. They took the time to explain the grilled chicken skewers, which were perfect. Just a nice, lively place for a casual dinner.

The gyoza filling was really moist and fresh, you could tell the ingredients were good quality. The garlic was just a hint, not overpowering at all. The skin had a nice crisp to it, which I liked. A solid, simple dish.

Menu's halal labeling is clear, which is helpful. Asked about a couple ingredients and the staff knew their stuff. Made ordering easy.

Friendly staff, they helped us pick a dish. Made the evening nice.
