The full English breakfast is a solid choice here. The eggs were cooked just right, and the coffee was good. The staff were friendly but not overbearing, which made for a relaxed morning. I appreciated not being rushed at all.

Came for the weekend breakfast. The mushrooms on toast were really tasty, I used the sourdough to get all the sauce. For what you get, the portion felt a bit small for the price though.

The owner's passion for chocolate really comes through. The truffles are made fresh with cream, so you've got about a week to enjoy them at their best.

Had a birthday lunch here with friends. The gallery setting was lovely, really made it feel like a proper occasion. Food was good, service was spot on. A nice spot for a little celebration.

The space is really nice, bright and airy. I had the eggs with ranchero sauce and the salt baked chicken, both were lovely. The smoked salmon and feta croissant looked good too. Just a really pleasant spot for a relaxed lunch.

The full English was a proper plateful, really well put together too. You definitely get what you pay for here, the portions are huge. Left feeling very full, no need for lunch after that!

Loved the vibe here. The lighting was so soft and the decor felt really thoughtful, made it easy to just unwind over dinner. A proper cosy spot.

Came here for a long overdue catch-up with the girls. The vibe was so relaxed, we ended up staying for hours just chatting over tea and scones. Just what we needed.

The open mic night was a nice surprise. Some really good local singers, a few covers but mostly original stuff. The owner was friendly, chatted with everyone between sets. Made for a relaxed evening.

This cafe has a great selection of food and drinks, all at reasonable prices. The laid-back vibe and good music make it a nice place to relax by the quay side.

Cosy little spot, perfect for a chilled afternoon. I was really impressed by their oat milk flat white - it had that lovely creamy texture you don't always get with alternatives. Just a nice, simple coffee done well.

Lovely, cosy spot. I had the homemade burger - the patty was so fresh and juicy, really good quality. Chips were crisp too. Just a nice, simple meal with fresh ingredients.

Chef knows his stuff with allergies. The heart-shaped bread was a cute touch, and the dairy-free ice cream was actually good. Soup was proper warming on a chilly day.

The staff were friendly, and Beth in particular was really nice. The place has a relaxed, cosy feel to it. The food was decent, though the pasta portion was a bit on the small side for the price.

The staff were really helpful and knew their coffee. They explained the different beans and helped me pick one that works well with my home setup. A decent spot if you're looking for something specific.

Nice spot right on the docks. The view of the harbour from the terrace is really lovely.

Came for the bacon sandwich everyone talks about. It's a generous portion, really good quality bacon. Could easily share one between two if you're not starving. The atmosphere is lovely, and they're very welcoming to dogs.

Great spot for a first full English! The staff were so welcoming, which made it a really nice place to catch up with a friend.

Parking was a bit of a mission on Saturday, but the space itself is lovely. Feels like you're eating in someone's cosy, old house. Nice spot to break up a drive on the A68.

Our go-to spot for a lazy Sunday brunch. The lattes arrive steaming hot every time, which I really appreciate. Portions are generous, so you won't leave hungry. Staff are quick and friendly, makes for a relaxed morning.

The banana and peanut butter toast here is the best in town! The flat white is also very good, and the barista is incredibly nice.

Love the coffee here, especially the caramel latte. They have a really interesting selection of syrups you don't see everywhere. The mocha was a nice choice too. Good spot to sit for a while with a book.

The loaded chips were the star for me – crispy outside, fluffy inside, and that cheese sauce was just right. Latte was smooth too, a really good one. Panini was solid, but those chips stole the show.

The pistachio ice cream was the standout for me. It had these tiny, crunchy bits of real nuts throughout, which gave it such a nice texture. The flavour was really rich and natural, not overly sweet at all. I'll definitely be back just for that one.

Tried the Gardeners Afternoon Tea. Sandwiches, scones, cakes - the spread was huge. Honestly, for what you pay, the portion size is really generous. Left feeling very full, which is always a good sign.

A lovely spot to get some work done. The garden out back is a peaceful spot to sit, and the staff are very friendly. My only note is that the chairs could be a bit more comfortable for a longer stay.

A nice spot for a relaxed coffee. The staff were really welcoming to my dog, which makes things so much easier. We tried the halloumi toast, it was tasty. A comfortable place to stop in.

The staff were really friendly. I had a coffee and a white chocolate muffin, which was nice. Just a small thing - our table wasn't quite wiped down when we got there, but it was sorted quickly. A comfortable spot for a quiet coffee.
