Chris was brilliant on a packed Saturday. We showed up without a booking, and he just made it work with such a friendly, calm vibe. Really appreciated that.

The full English breakfast was solid, and they had a nice spread of pastries too. Quiet spot for an early bite.

Food's always solid, prices fair. Even on a packed Friday night, got our mains in about 25 minutes. No complaints on the efficiency front.

The manager was so kind when my friend wasn't feeling well. They handled everything calmly and even packed up our food for us. Really appreciated that.

Been coming here for years, the tikkas never disappoint. The chicken is always juicy, and the lamb has that perfect char without being dry. Honestly, it's the one thing I can always count on.

Popped in for the Thursday lunch special. The pizza base was spot on, just the right texture. Service was quick and friendly, even with the lunch rush. A really comfortable spot for a solo bite.

The Sunday curry special is really good. Quick service, got my order in under 10 minutes. Perfect for a fast lunch break.

Had the grilled sea bass today. You do wait a bit, but you can tell it's cooked fresh to order. The fish was incredibly moist and flaky, and the lemon-herb seasoning was light and clean. Really appreciated that they use local, line-caught fish – you can taste the difference in freshness.

The room was spotless and comfy, had everything you need. The tea and coffee stuff was a nice touch. Breakfast was really good, loads to choose from.

Been coming here for years. The fish and chips are consistently spot on, especially the chips fried in beef dripping.

Got a steak dinner with wine using a Groupon. Solid deal for a quick bite. Steak was decent, came out fast which is what I needed. Good for a no-fuss lunch.

Stopped in on a long drive again. The place just feels so calm and relaxed, with those big windows letting in all the light. It's the perfect spot to just sit for a bit and reset.

Loved the vibe here! The building is stunning, and they're dog-friendly which is a nice touch. My steak frites were spot on – cooked just right. Service was quick and friendly. A solid neighbourhood spot.

Been coming here for years. Always a solid choice for a pint. The landlord really knows his stuff, can tell you about every beer on tap. Good selection of local ales.

The happy hour deal is a steal! Portions are decent, not huge, but honestly perfect for sharing with a friend. Everything came out super hot and tasted great. Just the spot for a casual catch-up.

Service was friendly and prompt. Food was decent, but the sauces on the fish were a bit heavy for me.

The menu had some nice lighter options, which I appreciated. I went for the grilled salmon salad – the greens were really fresh and crisp. The portion was just right for a weeknight dinner. The car park did fill up quickly though, so we had to park further down the street.

Been coming here for years, and the staff always get it right. They're attentive but never hover or interrupt your meal. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back.

Cosy spot, perfect for people-watching. The seats inside are so comfy, you can just sink in and lose track of time. It's that kind of place where you can just be.

The delivery drivers are always friendly, and the staff in the shop are helpful if you have a query. Food is pretty good, though the wait can be a bit long on busy evenings.

Love that they’re dog-friendly! The small plates are huge, honestly could make a meal out of them. Nice spot to stop by with the pup.

Been going here for years. The staff really know their stuff, always happy to explain the menu and point you towards something good. Had the lamb rogan josh last night, spot on as usual.

The set menu on Tuesday was such a find. The food was genuinely good, and for that price? A proper steal. Just a lovely, uncomplicated little treat.

Found this spot in Amble. The food is seriously good, like top-tier restaurant quality. Got the oysters, and they serve them on painted shells you can take home. Neat little souvenir. A bit of a trek to get here, but the meal made it worthwhile.

The carvery was the star. The roast beef was perfectly pink and juicy, and the Yorkshire puddings were crisp and airy. Gravy was rich and hot. Just a lovely, comforting plate of food.

Looks tiny from outside but it's huge inside! Perfect for a big group. We shared a few pizzas, the toppings were so fresh. Good for a casual catch-up with mates.

The car park is huge, which was a relief. And having a proper ramp at the entrance meant my friend with the pushchair didn't have to struggle. It just makes everything so much easier from the get-go.

Solid lunch. Squid in chili sauce was spicy and fresh. Calzone had a nice crust. Risotto was creamy. Good value. Staff were quick.

Lovely walk to get here. The beer garden is beautiful, and the views are just insane. They're really dog-friendly too – water bowls, treats, and even poo bags are provided.

Food is cooked fresh to order here. You can taste the quality difference compared to other fast-food spots.
