We had a wonderful lunch at Tenuta Baroni Campanino. It is only 20 minutes from Assisi on top of a mountain. The view is breathtaking. For a truly authentic experience with incredible scenery, food and wine. Don&rsquo;t expect a full menu. Do expect exceptional sausages, hams and Meats paired with delicious cheeses. The wines are excellent and they have a craft beer line as well. The service was attentive and knowledgeable. Our three year old son had plenty of room to run around while we enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great lunch experience off the beaten track. My husband is Spanish and said their ham &ldquo;is the best I&rsquo;ve had outside Spain&rdquo;. That&rsquo;s saying something!!

The staff here really makes you feel at home. They remembered my name from last time, and the way they explained the specials felt genuine, not just a script. It&#39;s a nice touch that makes the whole evening more relaxed.

Loved the outdoor seating at this cafe. Plenty of space, and you get a full, unobstructed view of the Basilica. It&#39;s a great spot to just sit and watch the world go by for a while.

This is a mandatory restaurant for us to visit it Orvieto, and Italy. It is one of the reasons we come here. Food, wine and service are reliably wonderful. Very welcoming!
