Cosy country pub with traditional aesthetic. Excellent service by welcoming staff. Outstanding food served promptly in generous portions. Friendly atmosphere among the patrons. Fantastic log fire lit during the winter. Highly recommend this pub for great food at a reasonable price, all served with a smile.

Friendly, traditional pub in the lovely Marshwood Vale. A wide choice of food and small portions offered which suit us better. Room for a delicious Eton mess to finish!

We’ve been guests at the Hunter’s Moon several times now, and it’s great to be back at this lovely old pub every time! Good food, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere!!

This pub was local to our fishing venue and it was a great addition to our week. The ambience was great as were the staff and food. The menu was a step up from the usual pub fare and every dish we tasted was superb, the price was not eye watering either.

Very pleasant experience, if I had to find fault I would say that the meat was slightly dry but the flavour made up for it, great service, lovely atmosphere and booked to go back, looking forward to it already
