Nice little place by the river. Got the schnitzel, portion was massive. Service kept it simple and friendly. Gets busy fast, so better book a table.

Nice rooftop terrace with a solid view over Dresden. Sunset made it worth the stop for a drink. Pretty good spot overall, though nothing more than that.

Came for the all-you-can-eat buffet, left properly stuffed. Staff kept checking on us, clearing plates fast. Food was decent for the price—nothing fancy, but the sushi was fresh enough and the hot dishes stayed warm. Not the best I've had, but for a quick, no-fuss dinner it did the job.

Came here for breakfast a few times during my stay. The coffee is properly strong — I always get the large with milk on the side, and it’s honestly a good deal. Managed to snag an outside table on a sunny morning, which made it even better. Service was quick and friendly too.

Sweet potato fries were crispy, burger was juicy. Staff friendly enough. Good spot for a quick bite if you're in the area.

Solid Sauerbraten, real Saxon style. Mashed potatoes were on point. Place was packed but we still got our food fast. Prices fair for what you get. Nothing fancy, just honest local cooking.

Came here twice while we were in town. Breakfast spread was solid both mornings, no complaints there. Staff handled the rush fine, even when it got busy. Sat outside on the square the second time—good spot for watching people go by. My wine pairing with the eggs benedict worked better than expected. Place gets a bit loud around noon, but that's on me for timing.

The croffle with egg salad was so good, and the salmon on laugen bread hit the spot too. Coffee was solid. Avocado toast was a bit hard to cut though. Expect a wait without a reservation. 😅

The pork knuckle was spot on—tender, not dry at all. Service friendly but a bit slow. Just wish the room wasn't so warm, my jacket smells like the kitchen now 😅

Stopped by for breakfast and honestly the portion size caught me off guard—pretty generous for what you pay. Got the scrambled eggs with sides, nothing fancy but filling. Staff were chill, didn't hover. Place has that worn-in local feel, not trying to impress anyone. Fine if you're hungry and don't wanna drop a lot.

We stopped by for lunch and the guy behind the counter actually took time to explain the fish options in English. That helped a lot. Had the grilled catch of the day, pretty fresh, came with some decent sides. Price was okay for what you get. Nothing fancy, but solid.

The cappuccino was smooth and the crepes hit the spot. Didn't get to try the ice cream, but the place itself felt pretty cozy for a quick break.

Stopped by for dinner on a warm evening—sat outside, which was nice. We ordered a few sharing plates, mostly good, though one came out a bit lukewarm. Cocktails were solid, well balanced. The waffle dessert was the highlight, crispy and not too sweet. Decent spot, but I'd skip the busy weekend hours.

Decent food and good portions, but prices are steep. You pay for the quality, no complaints there. Service was efficient, nothing fancy. Fine for a business lunch if you're in the area.

Stopped by for lunch on a quiet weekday. The place is full of old furniture and knick-knacks, which gives it a nice character. I had the Dresden Sauerbraten—pretty good, meat was tender and the sauce had a decent tang. Staff were friendly enough, no issues there. Maybe a bit touristy, but fine for what it is.

Stumbled into this place for lunch and honestly the sushi was way better than the plain setup suggests. Handmade, fresh, no fuss. I just ordered the salmon nigiri and it practically melted. Not the cheapest but you can tell it's worth it. Wish I lived closer, honestly.

A gem in the heart of the city. Ask for additional wine offers. They are happy to fulfill any extra wishes and requests. Great French style, always reserve / they are busy for a good reason. Cannot wait to try them again after the renovation.

Third time here and it’s been good each visit. My wild boar was a bit tough, but they swapped it for a pricier steak without hesitation. The waitress even brought water for our dog. Nice, easygoing service.

Steak came out too rare for me, but they swapped it right away and added free fries and a beer. That kind of service keeps me coming back. Pricey, but the spot makes up for it.

The Zwickelbier was really good, fresh and full of flavor. I liked that they had some lighter options on the menu too. Service was fine, nothing special, but the beer made up for it. 🍺

Nice spot right by the Blue Wonder bridge. Coffee was solid, pastries fresh. Service a bit uneven—one waiter seemed checked out, but the other handled things fine. Good enough for a quick stop.

The goulash soup was the standout—rich, hearty, exactly what I needed on a chilly evening. Portions are generous, no complaints there. Service was friendly but a bit slow; we waited a good while for the mains. Still, the heated terrace made the wait bearable. Solid spot if you're not in a rush.

Came for lunch, got the midday menu. Food was solid Greek, staff friendly enough. Free welcome and goodbye drinks were a nice touch.

Went here twice in one trip, that says enough. Schnitzel was solid, crispy, not greasy. Place has that old-school German feel, wooden tables, kinda dark but in a good way. Service was fine, nothing crazy. If you want real local food without tourist fuss, this works.

The Dresdner sauerbraten was properly tender, and the red cabbage stood out—soft, not mushy. Pretty good for a place near the tourist trail.

Solid food, well plated, flavors on point. Service was friendly and quick. Not the easiest spot to find, but worth the effort.

Solid burger spot near the Frauenkirche. Patty came exactly medium-rare, juicy without being messy. Beer list had some good local picks. Prices are a bit steep, but you're paying for the location.

The staff handled our stroller and got us seated early—that alone made it worth it. The chocolate soufflé was a nice finish too.

Stopped by after work on Tuesday. Place was quiet, bartender knew his stuff. Had a nice chat about the local beers, he didn't push the expensive stuff. Just a solid spot to grab a drink and decompress. Not fancy, but it does the job. Prices are fair for the area, I'll probably be back.

The Swiss chalet vibe is pretty convincing, wood everywhere, cozy. Had the cheese plate, it hit the spot. Felt like a tiny corner of Switzerland dropped into Dresden. Not cheap, but the atmosphere does a lot of the work. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. I'd come back if I'm craving that alpine feel again.
