Food was solid, well-presented, portions generous. Staff stayed on top of things even when it got busy. Good spot for a casual meal.

Been going here for years, and it never disappoints. The schnitzel was crispy, the dumplings soft, and the gravy had that proper homemade taste. Beer list is solid too, mostly Czech and German picks. Bill came to about 25 euros for two mains and drinks, which felt fair for the quality. Place gets busy around 7, so come early if you want a quiet table.

The lentil soup hit the spot after walking around the fortress in the snow. Goulash was hearty too. Staff friendly enough. Place has that old historic charm, wooden tables, kinda worn but cozy. Not fancy, but it warmed me up properly.

Ordered Taschenburger which is signature dish at restaurant opening time. The waiter said they ran out. How could they run out signature dish at the start of business? Seatings are stair corridors which is strange. Overall, there are much nicer and cheaper restaurants/cafe in Dresden.

The prices felt fair for what you get, especially given where it is. I had the homemade lemonade and it was really refreshing, not too sweet. My seat was comfortable enough to just sit and relax for a bit. Frozen yogurt was a nice way to end the meal. Nothing fancy, but a solid stop if you're in the area and want something easy.

The lighting in there is really something—soft and warm, makes you want to stay. Had the burger, it was okay, not the best. Service took a while but the girl was nice about it. Wouldn't mind trying the fish and chips next time.

Stopped by for a quick bite and grabbed a pastry at the counter first. That part felt a bit clunky, honestly. The food itself was decent, nothing crazy. Service was okay, just not super consistent. I'd probably come back if I'm in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Good gluten-free options, that chocolate mousse tart was a winner. Coffee's solid too. Bit of a walk from the center though.

The Max and Moritz platter was hearty and well-seasoned, exactly what I needed after walking around the market square. Pork loin steak was solid too, though the portions are pretty generous. Cozy rustic spot, nothing fancy but the ingredients felt fresh.

Stopped by for dinner and the service was genuinely friendly. Food was solid too. Place felt relaxed, easy to hang out in after a long day.

The Gin House offers an extraordinary selection of signature cocktails that are both sophisticated and daring, providing a wonderfully surprising taste experience. The service is friendly and professional, making it a great place to enjoy drinks.

Finally some real Sichuan food. The owner clearly cares about the ingredients. Hit the spot after all the Western meals.

The fish and chips here are solid. Batter stays crispy, fish is flaky and fresh. I've tried a few other things on the menu but always come back to this one. Portion size is decent for the price. My usual pick when I'm in the area.

We came here for a bigger family thing and booked the private room. The monastery bar area is small but cozy, the tavern part is more spacious. Food was solid, nothing fancy but well done. Getting there by tram was easy. Service was a bit slow when it got busy, but they stayed friendly. Would go back if someone else plans it.

The coffee’s always solid here, no complaints about that. Staff are friendly too, which helps. It’s right in the city center, so you know it’s gonna be busy—waited like 10 minutes just for a table last time. Fine if you’re not in a rush, but don’t come here when you’re short on time.

Solid ice cream, some interesting flavors. Had the salted caramel outside in the old town, pretty good. Service was fine, maybe a bit slow but no big deal.

Stopped in after a hike for coffee and cake. The strawberry slice with the crispy biscuit base was pretty good. Also tried the spaghetti ice cream, which was fun. Pastry selection is decent, though it took a bit to get served. Fine spot to refuel.

The garden seating's nice in summer, sweet potato fries are solid. Menu gets a bit repetitive after a few visits though.

Seasonal menu with local stuff - that's why I keep coming back. Plating was nice, tasted even better. Service on point, not in your face. Yeah it's pricey, but you see where it goes.
