The Italian beef was even better with a glass of their house red.

Fried chicken is solid. Owner stopped by for a quick chat, which was appreciated. Service was a bit slow, but there aren't many other choices nearby.

I'm a sucker for a good cinnamon roll, and theirs is solid. The cafe itself just feels cozy and lived-in, which I really like. It's the kind of spot where you can just relax for a bit.

Perfect stop after hiking Starved Rock. The blueberry pie ice cream is the real deal – you can taste the actual pie crust bits mixed in. Shop's adorable, lots of old-school candies too.

The cold brew affogato is what I'll come back for. The coffee flavor was bold, not watered down at all. Those little dark chocolate chunks were a great surprise. Really hit the spot on a warm afternoon.

Cozy spot with a friendly staff. The bar area is a nice, comfortable place to unwind.

Such a cozy spot for catching up with friends! Our waiter was super nice and checked on us just enough—never felt rushed. The vibe is perfect for a long chat over dinner.

Stopped in while traveling. The fish tacos were pretty good, and the Korean BBQ ones had a nice twist. A decent spot for a quick bite.

Nice spot for a quiet lunch by the canal. The tow path is well-maintained, easy to access from the office. Had the grilled salmon, it was fresh and cooked well. Service was efficient, got me in and out in under an hour. Good for a quick, reliable meal.

Nice spot for a family dinner. The music was pleasant and the food came out pretty quickly. It’s a decent, reliable choice.

Cozy little spot with local art on the walls. Felt like a real neighborhood hangout. Had the chicken pot pie—super comforting. Just a nice, easy place to grab a bite and relax for a bit.

The smothered chicken was pretty good, and the pesto penne was decent. Our server Maddie was nice and had a good sense of humor. The burger looked fine, too. A solid meal overall.

The portions here are huge! Ordered the chicken parm, and it covered the whole plate. For $18, I had enough for dinner and lunch the next day. Honestly, the value is solid.

The sushi chefs were super friendly and even gave us a birthday treat!

The portion sizes are generous for the price. Good spot for a quick, filling meal on the go.

Tried their wine tasting event and the little chocolate mousse cups with strawberries were the star. So cute and delicious! The team was really helpful with the planning details.

Decent spot for a casual hangout. They've got pool tables and darts, and sometimes karaoke. Keeps things lively, which is nice. Prices for drinks are okay, not too crazy.
