Went here after the morning aarti. Puri sabzi was solid, aloo curry had that proper old-school spicing. Place is right by Har Ki Pauri so you know it's gonna be crowded. Had to wait a bit for a seat but food came quick after that. Not fancy but does the job. Good for a quick bite when you're in the area.

The lighting here is really something—soft and warm, made the whole place feel cozy. We sat for almost two hours just chatting, didn’t even notice the time. Good spot if you’re meeting friends or on a date. Only thing is the tables are a bit close together, but not a big deal.

The red sauce pasta and Kothey momos were pretty good. Nice vibe and the view is lovely. Just be ready for that steep climb up — the name isn't kidding.

The Amritsari chole kulcha was the best thing I had here. Really flavorful, came out hot. Kathi kebab with rumali roti was decent too. Oreo shake was fine, bit sweet for my taste but okay. Place gets crowded around dinner time. Not the cheapest but the food holds up. I'd go back for that kulcha again.

Lollipop chicken was proper good, and the veg momos hit the spot. Beer was cold too. Deb ji looked after us well. Solid spot.

Stopped by The Writer's Bar last evening. Drinks were solid, no complaints there. Place has that old-school charm, you can feel the history. Bartender knew his stuff, didn't hover though. Got a table by the window, easy to just sit and watch people. Not cheap, but you're paying for the vibe. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

Tiny Domino's but pizzas are solid. Mexican and Paneer Makhani both good. They'll bring both at once though.

Tried this place after visiting Har Ki Pauri. Food was decent, no complaints there. But the seating area felt a bit cramped, especially during lunch rush. We waited around 15 mins for a table. Prices are slightly steep for what you get, but it's convenient if you're in the area. Would come back if I'm nearby, not going out of my way though.

The sweets are the real deal here—plenty of options and everything tasted fresh. Picked up a large box for a family gathering and it went down well with everyone. Parking is a bit of a hassle, but honestly the quality makes up for it. Pretty good spot if you're in the area.

The Dal Makhani was properly rich, that smoky flavor came through just right. Had the Kashmiri Dum Aloo too, spices were balanced, potatoes cooked well. Honestly the dal was the star, so creamy. Wish they gave more of it though, portion felt a bit small for the price. Still, satisfying meal.

Loved the idea of trying temple food from different parts of India in one thali. The imarti rabdi was so good, I’m still thinking about it. Slightly pricey for Rishikesh, but the freshness made it worth it. 😊

Went for dinner last week, ordered the baked vegetables. They were fresh, not overcooked, still had a bit of crunch. Liked that they didn't drown it in oil or cheese. Place was a bit loud with the live music, but the food made up for it. Would go back for those veggies again.

Went for dinner last night, tried their butter chicken and a wood-fired pizza. Honestly, the Indian dishes had more soul than the Italian ones. Pasta was decent but nothing crazy. Live music was a nice touch though, not too loud. Place was packed but service kept up fine. Bill came to about 1800 for two, fair enough for the portion sizes.

Loved the sunset view over Naini Lake with my cappuccino ☕ that little cookie on the side was a nice surprise. Coffee was decent, nothing mind-blowing, but that view made it worth it.

The seating area near the window had this soft evening light coming in, felt really calm. Half thali was surprisingly filling for two people. Food tasted home-cooked, not like a restaurant trying too hard. Staff let us take our time which I appreciated. Just wish they had a bit more ventilation, got slightly warm after a while.

Rooftop terrace is the selling point—solid view, good buzz after dark. Music fits the mood but gets loud if you want a quiet meal. Fine for a casual night out.

The balcony view of the Ganges is the real deal here. Caught it around sunset and honestly couldn't look away. Food was decent too, nothing fancy but tasty enough. Just sat there with my chai watching the aarti happen below. Wish the service was a bit quicker though, took a while to get the bill. But that view makes up for most things.

Tried the veg and non-veg thalis last weekend. The pahadi chicken curry was the real deal—proper spicy, not the watered-down version you get in most places. Portions were generous, easily enough for two. Rotis were soft too. Only thing is the place gets crowded around 8, so you might wait a bit. But for the price, totally worth it.

The honey chilli potato paired surprisingly well with a gin and tonic. Solid dinner, though the fried rice tasted a bit different from back home.

Prices run a bit high for the area, but the ingredients tasted really fresh. Got the grilled fish and it was cooked just right. Happy with the meal overall.

Went here after seeing the menu outside—lots of options from chaat to Chinese to South Indian. Tried the paneer tikka and a dosa, both came out fresh and hot. Service was quick, no complaints there. Place gets busy around dinner time, so you might wait a bit. Solid spot if you're in Rishikesh and want something reliable.

The view of the Ganga from the balcony is stunning in the morning. Had breakfast while watching the river—pretty peaceful.
